international fans loved her in fact. it was mostly korean fans being racist. also the group just looked off/wrong because they were not training Alex properly, didn't teach her proper korean over the 2-3 years she was there, didn't teach her the choreo to include her like a normal member of the group, and she had to do all the styling herself because korean stylists weren't educated on how to style her kind of hair texture. she felt more like a feature or publicity stunt than a member.
I was really looking forward to Alex's debut but they made her look like she isn't part of the group: Different clothes, totally different makeup style, going in and out of the stage...
she explained that because she came into the group last minute she did not feel it was right for them to rework the whole choreography since the girls have been working on it for six months. she also says that the makeup artist are not used to working with people with her kind of features so she does her own makeup, she explained that it's hard for them to find clothing for her body type so its a work in progress. she says she will be more present during the next comeback. they've finished the song and everything. if you have twitter you can follow alex on periscope. she interacts with the fans, and she answers questions. she's really nice. also all the girls have twitter and instagram accounts.

What can I say about this group? I am SO EXCITED FOR THEM!!! Love their style, their sound, and the rapper is fantastic! On top of that, I read that she is taking classes in Korean to learn the language, which means she could take that fierce talent of hers and even rap in Korean one day as well! I love when genres are able to mix like that, so I can't wait to hear what they have next.

Although I am kind of biased for only Asians in Kpop I feel like I would accept Alex more if I saw her do more...Things like singing and rapping in Korean(She's not the only non-Korean person in Kpop that had to learn Korean, maybe she's working on it but still...), actually doing the choreography( Yeri still preformed with Red Velvet for Happiness). Maybe for their comeback it'll be better, of course she would be in the choreography but I hope by that time she'll know enough Korean for singing/rapping.
They could have found SOME WAY to include her in the dance without disrupting the choreography too much; I don't even know why they added her to this song/performance if they were just gonna have her for the beginning and the last few seconds. Why not just let her debut with their next song? I mean announcing her is fine but why does she have to be in a performance that she doesn't know and is not going to be learning?
