For Ryan from the owner of a 97 Chevy with the Vortec:
Be ready to do lots of electrical diagnosis. These things run great and truly will never leave you stranded, however electrically they’re a nightmare. They’re hard to keep them running exactly right. They’re always low on power or hesitate under throttle. I recommend a nice scan tool that can present you with live data. I’ve had 3 of these trucks with vortecs and they’re all still alive. 140k, 120k, and 70k miles. None have ever left me stranded. Truly are amazing trucks, just they’re getting old and they need some more attention than they used to.
Ive got a 97 yukon, 2 door. No problems yet except a brake booster and master cylinder lol. And maybe some minor rust 😂

@@JacobE-23 Interesting! Never had a brake booster or master cylinder fail. These trucks have seen a fair bit of towing and full throttle and they've been bulletproof. Sensors are a big downfall with these trucks though. I'd be willing to bet you're not getting the full 255 horse of that motor. I've done TPS, MAF, MAP, IAC, HO2S, plugs, wires, distributors, CTS both at the tstat and cylinder head, etc. 2 of them have new upgraded spider injectors.

buggs definitely gets the win this time, just like how ryan deserved the win last time, it may not be satisfying, but a pursuit is a pursuit, it's certainly the cops' fault if they weren't paying attention. A win is a win.

Would love to see an episode where Chuck and George drop boxes of nails out of a truck "on accident" (spike) civs cars then offer a super cheap tow (like $10) but tow the cars to Chucks house and make the civs pay outrageous prices to get their car back, if they cant pay immediately start a auction or post it on marketplace.
Finish watching one OCRP video, guy immediately uploads a new one. Nice.

With Ryan in the garnage truck chasing Buggs reminded me of that old movie Duel (1971) with Dennsi Weaver. Where the Semi truck tries to run Dennis Weaver off the road and chases him all over. You guys should recreate that!

EPISODE IDEA 💡 - do the Maximum Overdrive movie in OCRP. Maybe a few ghost trucks causing chaos with civs in town, chasing people around and then a grand finale fight scene with civs held up in a building with trucks circling around outside. Bonus points if you can incorporate Chuck and George lol.
