To all of us obsessed people out there. There is a deep profound connection between the characters of Mycroft, his brother Sherlock and the man we now know as Jim Moriarty. It is palatable in BBC Sherlock the series but is also felt in the books and the old movies. You can't hate someone without loving them first. You would not waste the mental and spiritual energy otherwise. It's the same with obsession. People who are into the cuteness of Johnlock refuse to even contemplate such a thought that there is some underlying theme running through these stories. I picked it up from something Mark Gatiss said. This is a story about passion, redemption and forgiveness. That is what I am waiting to see in a series 5. The pieces are there. The characters are all in place. The writers need to tie all the threads together. In the end all the characters need to forgive, accept love and learn to care. Because in the end that is all that really matters for any of us.
