Another absolute key video, wish you, or a version of you were available in every tech collage as your attention to detail is second to none Gaz. I have seen so many teachers skip through stuff and presume the students know. But how fantastic that your Electrical theory videos are available to all students around the country. I come here for CPD and to refresh my old memory of the things easily forgotten on site, like the temperature for the PVC conduit installation for example. I think I may have pulled some conduit out of a cold van early in the mornings without giving it a thought, well at least till I needed to bend some:-)

I'm not an electrician or anything, but I'm curious - Is this PVC suitable for external use? The reason I ask is that my neighbours are installing external lights and they've used PVC conduit to route the cables through...

2.5 singles in conduit is rated at 24A. Two pairs defrayed by 0.8. This ends up under 20A the minimum for each side of the ring........ or am I wrong?
