I have a real problem with these people who don't care for their horse's feet, I have been doing business with my farrier for 42 years, he is like family on my little farm, I'm 75 years old now and he is the same age we are still going strong, with blessings of God, bless all of you who work so hard for these animals, horses, 🐐 goats, et al, praying 4 you 2 day everyday. Lynn 75❤😊
We used hair dryer or bullet garage heater to warm ours up in winter ,while we put heater in walkway aimed to stall we stayed there to be sure nothing got overheated, beach towles work well in drying them also
The endless clip after clip of row after row of Belgains and Percherons is heartbreaking. It's all heartbreaking. When I win the lottery I'm going to set y'all up a fund to sustain you indefinitely and you'll never have to worry about fundraising ever again
Yes! I am saddened every time I hear of someone winning big lottery money and spending it on luxury homes, expensive cars, etc. when there is so much good that could be done with funds like that. It wasn't earned, just luck. I would never consider that kind of money 'all mine'.
The auction footage was horrid.....and that Amish man, just beyond words how shocking that was. Those horses don't owe them anything. They should be cared for and respected, even if it's just because they would do an honest days work. Thank God for Pony Tales, that you have the courage and compassion to face such awfulness and try to same some of these poor creatures before it is too late.
That Amish man has some major issues. I feel so bad for that horse and any horse he comes into contact with. It's difficult to watch but thank you for exposing the abuse that goes on at auctions. To be fair, there is a use on both sides. I've seen horses being mistreated outside of the Amish community and am now in the process of trying to save one sweet mare. The owner just tossed her to the side after knowing she had been starved. I tried to help but I know now how cruel people can be and they will turn on you even when you're just doing what's best for the horses by simply providing the best rehab and care. Thank you for all you do. I know that it must be stressful at times. For the love of horses we can't give up.
The two little pony owner surrenders were as cute as cute can be. They looked to be in good shape too. It's nice when people reach out for help before their animals start to suffer.
Cindy, the self restraint you showed in not decking the abusive jerk trying to dominate that poor horse with his Vulcan nerve pinch, and the idiot trying to convince you you'd bought a sound horse, because he assumed you were clueless... OMG. I might have ended up in jail. Did you end up rescuing that Amish horse?
For 20 years, I lived in this area & I know where this rescue is & who they are. Although I moved to a different state, I follow them closely. They are legitimately decent people. We used the same vet service & my vet vouched for them. I can also vouch that until I lived in Wisconsin, I had “romantic” notions about the Amish. Then I lived near them. They are NOT the people they portray. They are not kind to animals. Especially horses & dogs. They are the largest contributors to puppy mills across the nation.
Hi guys the action footish. Had a lot of beautiful horses . Thank you guys for rescuing them. And hope they find there for ever homes too. All my 💕🥰❤️💖😘😍 to all. And please keep warm out there too all yous.
I am so grateful for the owners who actually care about their horses, and therefore surrender them to you, all the mini's today. 💕 And some people still think the amish treat their animals better than most, well not after seeing today's episode.. Could the shaking drooling horse have nerve damage, because of something similar like the pinch the other guy did? Man I wish I could go over there and pinch his sensitive nerves. That's how I was taught empathy.. My dad caught me holding the cat back by its tail, so he lifted me up by the back of my pants and asked if it felt nice... No it didn't, and I immediately understood how to treat animals better after that..
My goodness some of your problems are related to a cold environment...like horse trailer chains frozen in the ground!!! Never realized all the issues....but you guys rock!
All in all the Amish work horses seem to be used, abused and dumped when they get older and have issues arising from horrible care. I saw some Amish trained horses at a high-end auction in AZ recently, and the horses were well trained and cared for. Just shows there are levels of life styles in every culture! The farming industry among the Amish needs to be brought around to doing things right for their work horses!!
Pony Tales should be the blueprint for all rescues! The work you do, everyone's attitudes, commitment and compassion is world class! I continue to be impressed with your stamina, humor, knowledge and the FACT that you go above and beyond with each and every horse/donkey that is blessed to come your way!!
I cried when I saw that person, kicking the horse on the head and give the horse some real hard smacks in the face! How are those people screwed togheter? They must be missing a lots of bits! Hope you did rescue that one. Glad you are there and do the job you do.
Goodness look forward to the updates and glad you got that horse being pinned down. Just wrong. Very thankful cream puff bounced back. If I had the money, you would have a covered arena for those horses.
I don't think I'll ever get used to watching the auctions, horrid man, was that his final goodbye was it, lucky the horse didn't kick him on the way out 😡, so many beautiful animal s, thank God for u guys ❤️
@@PonyTalesRefuge You are so dedicated and work so hard for those angels!!!!! 💖 The weather is atrocious!!! 🌨️ I truly don't know how you do it!!!!! 🧖💕
Love how you're saving the horses. :) The hay nets should be lower to the ground as much as you can. Better for the horse. The more natural way of eating. Hay nets are Great! WT H is that Amish man doing to that horse? He's kicking it in the face! I thank you for saving these Horses!! You are awesome!
I used to worry a bit about the height of haynets but if you watch a horse use one they pull the hay then lower their head to chew and swallow so they know how to deal with it as long as they're not tied too short to lower their head.
Oh my gosh, it breaks my heart every time I see you guys go to auction, and see what goes on! I’m so glad you all are able to rescue. It made me so sad to see the way the man handled that horse, they do not deserve that! I can’t wait to meet the new group. I hope y’all have many blessings! Glad to see Cream Puff was OK! Take care!
Oh god, did you get the poor horse that was being abused at the auction by that imbecile? I wanted to reach into the screen and strangle that guy. So disturbing. 😢😢😢 Thank you for all you guys do🙏🏻❤
Love what you all are doing for the horses and minis. The auction breaks my heart to see them and why was the person kicking the horse in its mouth? I understand why you go but I don't think I could do it.😢 That won't stop me from watching, though. Bright blessings on you all,
I know, eh?? No wonder these auction horses get so much damage to their legs and hooves!! Even people just trailering their own horses in the us, you almost never even see a bandage, tail wrap or anything. Unless it’s a racing stable, or some fabulously expensive show horse. An ounce of prevention, people. And I know it’s hard to wrap legs when you have multiple auction rescues that have probably not had much handling, but a ramp is surely feasible and much better for horses with leg injuries and bad hooves. Just my two cents, on top of these others, hey together we got about five cents! From not-mardon, in Canada 😢
Thank y'all and God bless y'all for all the help you give these horses🙏 words can't describe how much you're doing for them! I'm praying for y'all and I will donate as soon as I can.

You have such AWESOME weather out there-cold rain, warm snow and…snizzle!! So glad Cream Puff just needed a hand up. Maybe it was just too slippery for her to get up on her own
You should put up cctv everywhere so to keep an eye on the horses and maybe if you ever get enough donations buy a Solarium for the horses in cases like 6:22 it would be very helpful

This was another great episode showing how much of a difference you make! Poor Cream Puff, I am sure glad she was ok in the end. The auction - it was beyond rough. Did you get that horse? I love Standardbreds, they have a special place in my heart. And to see these horses and many of them injured and in rough shape - I deeply admire you for your strength and resilience! This work is some extremely challenging work!
Great video! Thank God for all of you! The more I learn of how the Amish and Mennonites treat their horses, the more I dislike these supposed "Godly" people. Shame on them! I wish people would stop over-breeding horses that end up uncared for and being sold at auctions! On a lighter subject... I wonder how many others besides me were talking to their screens saying, "Just pull the truck and trailer forward a bit! That will free the frozen trailer chains!" LOL! But y'all worked it out!
Amish are not known for being kind to animals; there is a verse in the bible that says " be Carey how you treat animals, for unlike you they are without sin." I guess they missed that verse.
I don't get why people take on an animal they can't take care of . Theres more too it then put them in a pen and throw bale of hay out for it once a month . They need a mineral block natural water not city water alfalfa hay apples carrots and lots of love . Would'nt hurt to get them a space theater to stand by .

Wouldn’t it be better to take the Amish to Court for Cruelty, they have plenty of evidence that would result in these Amish getting jail sentences!
The auctions footage was absolutely heartbreaking. What was that evil man doing to that horse?
