Solid enuf list, but I was puzzled at your choice of putting Carbink as #1 Worst (when it's a 'mon with cute blue eyes, bunny-like ears, fluffy mane & crystals over its body) over Sawk, Throh & Bruxish. Sure, it's forgettable & they could've done more with it, especially implementing the forms that went unused in the games, but aside from that, it's just OK. 5:06, I also just learned that Anorith has 75 speed, making it 1 of those 'mon that lose speed upon evolving.
Fun fact about Cryogonal, it was used by lets player Chuggaaconroy in Pokémon Black & White and was able to get it to work in game. Plus he wanted a special Ice type that was not made of ice cream.
I think my favorite single stage is Oricorio. Awesome pool of inspirations for the design, multiple (really cute) forms, and a super fun ability, what's not to love? Also I do NOT appreciate the Delibird slander, he's doing his best!!!
The timing to your video here is impeccable. I'm working on the roster for the Gym Challenge and Elite Four in a fictional Pokemon region, and I wanted to do something different for them other than just each person having a type specialty. One of the Elite Four I decided was a woman named Estelle Stasia, who only uses Pokemon that do not evolve, as she thinks trainers who only use powerful Pokemon that evolve are using the later stages as a crutch for their lack of battle prowess. I was hoping her team would have a mix of old mons and new, so your list here should help with research.
I like the idea but logic don't make sense to me. Since alot single stage can rival third stage Pokemon and some get evolution later gen. How about she impatient to evolve Pokemon and prefer single stage. Maybe she like mixing roster alot so don't have time to evolve pk Just my take
@@Watch-0w1 I'm glad you noticed that. Estelle is a powerful trainer, and has some very strong opinions. And she also happens to be a hypocrite for the very reasons you laid out. But because of how highly ranked she is, no one has been able to convincingly sweep her so hard that she has had a change of heart. Because the region, due the story reasons, is locked in a bit of a cold war, I wanted to have several characters that you encounter throughout your journey that will dispel some pretty wild ideas that you might not necessarily agree with but because they're having to stay steadfast in their own beliefs and values in this conflict of time you just get to know them warts-and-all.
nice to see some love for Tropius, my favorite pokemon! I think it's main weakness, beyond the typing, is it's lackluster movepool. For a pokemon, that has so many stats that are average to good (excluding the slow speed) a better movepool would be great, as it won't be able to shine in a specific dicipline other then being adorable and cool!
My favorites are Heracross Hawlucha Mimikyu Esicue Falinks Most of my favorites involve the anime. And i used hawlucha few times online and playthroughs and heracross is my favorite bug type and used it in my first pla playthrough
Heracross is easily in my top 10 over all Pokemon! Also Eiscue is a brave choice, but I'm proud of you for standing your ground because I like it too, at least more than most people!
Me and my girlfriend both used a Unova fighting type on our first play throughs. I picked up Sawk back in Black and she grabbed Throh in her Sword run. Sawk wasn't quite as helpful to me as I was much younger and had picked up 3 fighting types but we both coincidentally grabbed one.
I like how you know people never used klawf, so you sing it praise, but you dis on throh when I know you never used one. Sawk maybe is a copy of the hitmons, but throh is a continuation of something we had a lot of in the early gens. Bulky mono fighting types. Throh has much more in common with machamp or hariyama than it does hitmonlee
It might have been cooler to make Filet Away an ability instead of a signature move. How cool would it be if it functioned like Speed Boost, but it boosted both attack and speed every turn?
Pterodactyls aren't dinosaurs. They're a genus pterosaurs. Other genuses of pterosaurs also existed, all of which I'm pretty sure could fly, including one named after aerodactyl. Aerodactylus.
If you are doing a fairy monotype challenge, Carbink is a really good option as a defensive pivot, as it learns rapid spin, stealth rock, spikes and utility moves such as charm and iron defense. It's not that great for a normal playthrough, but that little diamond will eat damage as a wall in a monotype or a nuzlocke
I’m very happy to see Klawf on this list. I love everything about Klawf and I’m proud to have one on my team. I may be biased because I love crabs… and literally every other animal on earth. Sawk and Throh are literally just 2 men who just got out of martial arts class.
I wish Spiritomb had better stats or something. It’s such a cool Pokémon with a rare type and for it being more rare than most legendaries too it sucks that it’s stats are so underwhelming. Imagine if all it’s stats were 108 to go along with his gimmick or something along the lines of that
my favourite single stage has to be Mimikyu. it's so cool! and it has such a cool typing... I just wish it was easier to find in S/M because it's encounter rate is super low...
10:11 But I mean Misdreavus and Magneton have Paradox counterparts and cross-gen evos (Mismagius and Magnezone) so maybe there's hope for ol' Delibird someday
Best = TROPIUS is that a joke LOLS IF YOU WOULDNT WANT A NORMAL TYPE OR YOUR STARTER TO BE A HM SLAVE ITS TROPIUS thats its only viable use then comparing it horrible typing to a dark/rock type specifically TYRANITAR is a bigger joke

I feel i have a pretty unique story as to why i ised a throh. Inhad a dream once where i switched bodies with a team plasma grunt. They had a throh that i gained the trust of and together we advanced quickly through the ranks of team plasma to get to ghethis from the inside. I eventually got switched back to my original body, but before i did i promised Luv the throh i would be back for it. So when i finally got white version, i bred and transfered a throh to it and used it as my starter.
Cryogonal is said to sublime when the aurrpunding is too warm, wpuldnt it be cool if it has a Mist or Fog form? Mayhaps even a direct symbiosis with Castform? Since theyre basically the same element, water
Aerodactyl do still exist, in the isle of armour and crown tundra, many fossils were residing there in the depths, so yeah we are lucky he hasn't come to claim his thrown

It may not be official, but it just makes sense to me!
@@emperorcubonebetter than your cryo pronunciation
I’LL REMEMBER THIS CYRO SLANDER
The best and only video video I found talking about single forms😅
The part that got me is when delibird said "it delibirdin time" and delibird
Gives me chills every time!
Carbink is kinda cute, but only memorable when you think of Dancie, if at all.
Bruxish is so disappointing that when I wanted to train a water \ psychic type in alola I ended up returning to my beloved starmie
I did get a shiny Staryu from Pokepelago, so that helped!
I will not stand for this Cryogonal slander
Especially after seeing Tropius somehow make it to the best
Tropius is cool. It's actually crap, but it's cool. Cryogonal is super cool, and would be a lot better if it had the steel type.
@@samszczepanski2281I remember that I got Cryogonal very late in the galar and the paldea regions
@@samszczepanski2281 It's not useless without the Steel type tho, I had one on my White team and it was a pretty valuable member
@@samszczepanski2281crap? Stop the cap. STOP THIS CAP
I am hoping Veluza does get a slight stat rework / increase. I feel Nintendo / Gamefreak decided to tone it down a bit in order to provide it with a powerful move.
It's the same situation for Klawf with its ability in order to not conflict it Shell Smash.
Carbink is like Phione without the direct Mythical connection
Except you can't even breed for a Carbink...
fellas be single stage sometimes, whether or not that benefits them is up to anyone's guess.
i’ll never forget the fear i felt when seeing a massive crab climbing on a cliff wall for the first time
A *Klawf wall, but yes, quite intimidating.
Fun fact about Cryogonal, it was used by lets player Chuggaaconroy in Pokémon Black & White and was able to get it to work in game. Plus he wanted a special Ice type that was not made of ice cream.
I just want there to be like a once per save event where you can evolve Carbink into Diancie
Maybe she like mixing roster alot so don't have time to evolve pk
Just my take
@@Watch-0w1 I'm glad you noticed that.
This is a really cool idea! I'm glad I could be of assistance!
nice to see some love for Tropius, my favorite pokemon!
I think it's main weakness, beyond the typing, is it's lackluster movepool. For a pokemon, that has so many stats that are average to good (excluding the slow speed) a better movepool would be great, as it won't be able to shine in a specific dicipline other then being adorable and cool!
My favorites are
Heracross
Hawlucha
Mimikyu
Esicue
Falinks
Most of my favorites involve the anime.
The fact Throh looks like your average School PE teacher
Ah, thank you for putting my favorite Flying-type at the top.
What can I say? You have good taste!
@@emperorcubone Ah you're too kind.
I feel like Heracross shouldve made this list but i still respect it and had a great time watching. Thank you Emperor!
Keep in mind, this was only an add-on to the list from last time, so you might be validated there...
I like the theory that aerodactyl is the ancestor of the legendary birds
Huh, all of them? I don't think I've heard that one...
Cryogonal is one of my favourite Pokémon. It has a little ( ^ ^ ) face.
The discarding flesh thing is actually connected to something for Veluza: it's signature move, Fillet Away.
I’m very happy to see Klawf on this list. I love everything about Klawf and I’m proud to have one on my team. I may be biased because I love crabs… and literally every other animal on earth.
Sawk and Throh are literally just 2 men who just got out of martial arts class.
I loved this video more than the original
I ended up finding a shiny klawf in my first playthrough, I would have never caught one otherwise and I am glad I did
Of all crab Pokémon out there, this one learns crab hammer but only as an Egg move. Being a Rock-type shouldn’t be an excuse.
Underestimate Klawf at your own peril!
Keep it up on your work and this video and channel
I ❤️ this video and channel
Thanks you for your video and channel
I ❤️ Pokemon all franchise
Shots fired at ShadyPenguin 😅
I wish Spiritomb had better stats or something. It’s such a cool Pokémon with a rare type and for it being more rare than most legendaries too it sucks that it’s stats are so underwhelming. Imagine if all it’s stats were 108 to go along with his gimmick or something along the lines of that
my favourite single stage has to be Mimikyu. it's so cool! and it has such a cool typing... I just wish it was easier to find in S/M because it's encounter rate is super low...
Yet somehow I accidentally managed to find, and kill, a shiny Mimikyu in the store... (don't worry, I redeemed myself later after a long hunt.)
0:15 ive never looked at a geogreymon like that before but now i dont know if i can ever not think of him as a cubone evo any more
10:11 But I mean Misdreavus and Magneton have Paradox counterparts and cross-gen evos (Mismagius and Magnezone) so maybe there's hope for ol' Delibird someday
That is a fair point, but I'm not holding my breath...
12:17 "bejeweled Beyblade" That is the first time I have ever heard that.
It's just about the perfect description!
Best = TROPIUS is that a joke LOLS
IF YOU WOULDNT WANT A NORMAL TYPE OR YOUR STARTER TO BE A HM SLAVE ITS TROPIUS
thats its only viable use
then comparing it horrible typing to a dark/rock type specifically TYRANITAR is a bigger joke
The emperor said “frozen freak”
This man is a savage! Bwahahahha
my favorite single stage pokemon is mimikyu (my favorite pokemon actually) it would be super cool if mimikyu got some friendship evolution where it becomes so friendy with its trainer and evolved so it can take off the disguise
Are we just gonna ignore fillet away? I know the animation is so fast that it's hard to see but removing its flesh is literally its signature attack lol
6:32 he tryna make that mf look vicious
You are right about Sawk and Throh but they went crazy in B&W. They make for a very good early fighting type, especially if you didn't pick Tepig
The first 30 seconds was how I felt about Dunsparce and I was robbed of that...
Qwilfish is my beloved single stage Pokémon. It's Hisuian form gets a cool evo but I love my lil' Johtonian spiky fish. ♥️
Bruxish is one of my least favorite designs and Pokémon, so very much agreed with you there. And Veluza is so annoying in the games, so yeah. I really like Carbink and its shiny is awesome.
I wish Carbink just used different crystals for its shiny instead, but I guess it's alright...
I love using Bruxish in the Great League in Pokemon Go. It is surprising good
How Unown survived this list?
Honestly? That sounds awesome! A water cycle Pokemon like that could be amazing, but poor Cryogonal can't have it...
Aerodactyl do still exist, in the isle of armour and crown tundra, many fossils were residing there in the depths, so yeah we are lucky he hasn't come to claim his thrown
I would love to see oricorio get something- like maybe an evolution that has a signature move depending on its form at time of level
it’s so funny bc growing up i always loved sawk
I was gonna comment "you really hate water psychic type Pokemon, huh"
Right at that moment: And I promise I'm not hating on water psychic types because there are some that I love ...
Me:shoot he read my mind
That's the Psychic half coming in! ;)
@@emperorcubone yeah and it was super effective too 😭😁
Iron bundle does not mean delibird can’t be improved on, duraladon got a signature G-Max form and then got an evolution the next generation, that shows that just because a Pokémon has some unique feature in one region, doesn’t mean it isn’t different in other regions.
