I let my pride get to me and kept telling my buddies I'll get the M&M figured out....after twice the cost of a carb swap It's working but now I'm about to swap it to save the headaches in the future.
Man I watched all your videos on converting the efi to carb and I can't thank you enough for this because I have two road kings with the old MM efi and have been wanting to convert both of them and my 98 has the evo and my 2000 has the twin cam and I love them both but I will love them more when I convert them and again these videos will be a tremendous help to me and I thank you very much sir for making them and have a safe ride and God bless.
I have the same bike! I wanna do the same to it. The magneti marelli on my bike it's starting to give me problems. Please continue with this tutorial as I am following every step you are providing. Keep giving me parts numbers and updates as I am purchasing and mimicking everything you do. Thank you for giving me hope on fixing my bike! I was starting to loose hope and was considering selling my bike taking a loss. I love my Road King and would hate to get rid of it. Thanks again for the great input!!! 🙏👍
Will do Sir hope to have the start up done by the weekend. I will also be doing a vid on what I think of the carb setup and the small thing I did with jetting and such. So stay tuned I won't leave you hanging.
I just finished doing the carb swap on my 1999 road king, I used the dynatek tc88 ignition, namz efi to carb wiring harness. Mukuni 42, and the pingel coversion set. The bike started right up and runs great. You might want to check your cam chain tensioners while your at it
Good job on the conversion. I don't have that old style cam chain tensioner I upgraded to the screaming eagle cam plate and hydraulic tensioner about 5 years back.
@@desertdogsgaragemetalworks3843 Also the stock Barometric Pressure Sensor that was by the ecm plugs in the map senser. I used the evo manifold with no hole
