Every time Shockspitter gets brought up I have to bring up my personal experiences. I remember coming back to Hearthstone in March of the Lich King, logging in on day 1 of the expansion, and getting OTKed on turn 6. That was a time. Of all time.
Yeah but this is wild we're talking about, hunter having a combo that can deal 40 on turn 7/8 (renathal, disruption, armor) is not that crazy, would it be good? Hell yeah it would. But would it be better than what's already around? Not really, it'd definitely be good but probably not better than the best hunter deck anyway

I know patches really does not need it, but it would be such a flavor win for patches to have "Battlecry: gain charge!" to bring back the voiceline when played and makes it feel better to draw in hand. Again, I understand Patches really doesn't need it.
Always cool to watch this kind of videos - never saw such historical content on hearthstone, it's nice to remember these times. I would really appreciate if you made a video about cards that should have never been nerfed maybe and a look on old adventures. I miss them a lot actually.
For some time, I wished Patches to be reverted, but then Pirate Rogue became a thing and I'm now glad he didn't. Old school Gadgezan-aera Pirate Warrior was just so sweet :(
I don't know why the naga stuff for demon hunter from sunken city was never reverted it was my first legend deck in standard and I would love to see the cards return to there original form nit cause i think they would dominate but I wana see how naga dh would do in wild with sharpshooter
I still think it'd be healthier if it summoned Demons with stats equal to damage you would've taken instead of redirecting the damage to the enemy hero, but each to their own.
I kinda stopped playing since Wild has become so limited in archetype viability, but three reverts that would get me back is Far Watch Post, Theotar, and Denathrius. The game was much more enjoyable when we had those at full power.

Another card that will never get reverted is Costumed Singer, because Blizzard hates secret mage (and hunter as a class in genera,l we couldn't possibly give hunter a good 1 drop)
And now the deck is dead, Costumed Singer could easliy be unnerfed and i still don't understand the Kabal Lackey nerf. Also the last time we got support for the deck was is Nathria.
@@Bolvar_ Dead as it should be, it was one of the most unfun decks in the game, and it was popular for long enough. Kabal Lackey was nerfed becuase turn 1 free Secret was too good. And the deck has more than enough support already, every card in Secret Mage is either a Secret or Secret synergy, if you search "Secret" in the collection, the entire deck shows up.
I wish they'd revert the jailer and denathrius. I feel like in wild if you can get to 10 mana you might as well be able to play those big effects. More over with what they did with Zarimi adding the once per game text, I feel like you could add that to Denathrius since part of the reason he was nerfed to begin with the battlecry being copied.
Agree on the reverts. Surprised Rake didn't get reverted as well or Anub'Rekhan (since you have Avianna eitherway). Should Draka get reverted? Denathrius? Irondeep Trogg? Valishj? Gnoll/Masquerade interaction? Questilnes (other than Demon seed)? Thaddius surely won't. Harpoon Gun and Drek'Thar definitely should. I also think a case could be made on Cataclysm, Chamber of Viscidus and Tome Tanpering (to 4 mana). Wild is so far gone that ar this point a lot of that stuff would be very mid.

overseer frigidara doesnt need revert. she needs to go to 5 shockspitter is dangerous. yog can go back to 0. after you spend 25 mana on spells. and we need this mechanic on lot more cards since if you don't spend mana card does nothing. and they should nerf warsong commander to your other minions have rush, if they have 3 or less attack charge instead.. this was the nerf they should have done since grim patron wasn't problem. the problem was frothing berserker summon with 2 attack gains charge and than gains bunch of attack
Before anyone comments, Illidan stormrage as a card is stronger than Xavius despite having the same effects and stats due to certain interactions which gave Illidan advantage over Xavius. Aka *Knife Juggler*

But when the Demon Hunter update came to be, Illidan was changed into Xavius (while Illidan became a classic hero) and the latter didn't have those interactions anymore despite having the same effect and stats
Thinking about it now, the only main difference between them is the minion they summon. Flames of Azzinorth (Summoned by Illidan) does not have a minion type while Xavian Satyr is a demon (Summoned by Xavius).
I think they _should_ revert it. It's not like anyone was playing him outside of dumb combos that test the limits of the game (which would never pop up during regular gameplay). And as for the "base hero as both a hero and a minion" issue, that didn't stop them from making the Lich King (in full armor, not Arthas) the default DK hero.

I think reverting as idea is stupid. If card played in standard and was nerfed at some point, but weak for wild what's the point to revert it? Either it still weak and you functionally made nothing or it will be played and so you increase average power level of already too fast format. Also if card was nerfed, then, you know, it was too strong initially

absolutely, the lackey nerf is what basically killled the deck. Still if possible i would idealy want both back unnerfed.

I kinda liked the old powerpoint style better. Why does everything have to be so perfect...Same reason why I like wowcrendor's shitty green screen.
I wasn't a fan of them as much they're too awkward to do every single day and I want something that does better for every few days
