Wow. This would’ve been aight at best 20 years ago. Even Nikke’s minigame looks better. In this day and age, lazy af. Devs really look at games like Star Rail, 7DS, etc and think this is ok 🤦🏾♂️🚮
lets be fair here, 7DSGC is not that good of a looking game... WW looks easily better than 7DSGC. Star Rail I get honestly, Nikke does look good in some aspects for sure better than this but alot of games now a days is going to look better but overall its the feel for the game that draws us to it and potentially back for a nostalgia trip.
I somewhat agree. It's not that low graphic games can't be successful. But if the graphics aren't there to sell the game, then the art direction (aesthetic) of the game should be strong enough to carry it.
And if it lacks both good graphics and good art direction, then the gameplay needs to make up for it. For example: Minecraft, Among Us, etc. are not visually impressive. But the gameplay is entertaining enough to sell the game.
Scion, as far as vampire-survivor-like game is concerned, Im wondering if you will cover Twinworld Survivor. Its a paid game of 2.99 USD on Playstore (4.99 on Steam but gameplay wise looks quite different from Playstore version) but there is no iap. At first look you might think wth are there iap in a paid game but its juz a disguise.
I have only played Playstore version though so I cant really say much about Steam version.
I usually cover things based off of request. So if they asked me then I would.
