Just as Ishida, I do not laugh easily. Because of this, I can not watch Gintanama since it does not have a real story, but rather episodic situational comedy, which is not enough for me since I do not laugh. Even though the characters are great, I starve for a story.
This comment shows that you know nothing about Gintama. While it is a comedy show, it has many serious and emotional arcs. It has a real story where people actually died. It has many heart-breaking moments that can make people cry. The moment the Shogun died, or the death of Sasaki, when Gintoki had to kill his own teacher, etc. There are so many memorable moments.
