@ Pretty good for me at least, the average person; the bass is strong too. If you’re a musician or someone who really has a keen interest on fine sound quality, then they might be decent. However, the battery life speaks for itself, for sure. Ya can’t beat it…

@@Machetetheclown Thank you for the reply. I am not musician, but just hopping it is of good crystal sound quality with reasonably strong bass will do. Have bought it during Black Friday sales, but hasn't open the box and thinking of returning it back to the store.

god these look so sick! and honestly? against the XM5s, that are like 300+, probably would go with these if the comfort and sound is there - seems like they are. love the clips for travel! and the physical button is so much better than the touch feature on the XM5, which always seems to get messed up in the rain

I collect on-ear headphones and, without a doubt, Marshall Major IV is the most comfortable one i own (over Sony, Soundcore, Edifier, JBL on ear-headphones). With that being said, it is disappointing that the Major IV has no app to customize EQ compared to the others. So the Major V having an app is a great upgrade to the Major IV.

The battery for sure is the strongest feature, after 3 years iam still going 2 weeks without a single charge, and again ,everyday for 7h minimum. Sound is great, style is great, comfortability is great, build quality is great. For sure iam going for the major 5 especially if they drop like 20 bucks/euros like the major 4 did.

I upgraded from Major 3's which I had for almost 5 years. The earcuffs are way more comfortable, but the button feels more flimsy and plastic. I click it accidentally instead of doing any other action way too often. The m-button is actively making them worse. It's useless, it's in the place of the knob from previous models, to make sure veterans accidentally reach for it out of habit. It's has no functionality outside of playing a random song on spotify. It didn't have to be a button, but spotify is getting desperate. Lack of color options is not enticing either. I think those may be the last marshall majors ever if they tank badly

Got them last week for less than £100. First reaction…1) bit small ear cups but after wearing them for a bit would not necessary say it is a problem, 2) whilst sound is great it could be an ever slightly louder, 3) agree that the physical knob control def works for me, 4) within app there is an equaliser and when you press the M button (if you decide to have it set for this option) you should be able to switch between all possible sound effects and not just either Marshall and only bass boost or Marshall and only mid reduction etc! Overall 5/5 especially with now lower price!

I've recently purchased these and I'm quite impressed with the sound. I do like to use wired connection as we all know the sound quality wired is better than Bluetooth - or should be.
So here's my problem. Tidal! When you connect these or any BT headphones to the Tidal app up pops a message telling you that Bluetooth compresses the sound quality . .. This is not what I'm paying for with Tidal. So I connected the very thin little supplied headphones cable - no sound!! It turns out that you have to turn the volume up full on both the headphones and your source. For me that's Sony AW45 and my Sony Xperia 10 mobile. It's the only way you can hear anything and I'm not sure that the sound quality with cable is any better.. be interested to hear what others have to say. I must admit the Bluetooth connection is actually rather pleasant to listen to. And the bass definitely there if you need it.

The quality of Marshall Majors sucks, as well as sound quality. The brand is not enough, it's a cash grab. Had two iterations (Mk1 and Mk2 BT), both broke after a few months - and I am NOT a heavy user, I tend to take care of my gear. On top, they are quite uncomfortable.

Honestly, I'm not sure about the design - they look clunky and looking like amps read heavy and hard to me. Ima skip! 👎

I’ve tried the 4s and at full volume, the passive noise cancelation work pretty well

I just brought the Major V's love them for all these features. Comfort, compact, bluetooth, & sweet tiny controls.
I can't stand buds. I hear no external noise with the Major V's.
The sound is what made me buy them icing on the cake 🍒 Marshall's quality has never let me down. ❤🐨👍🏼🇦🇺🦘

These are kind of the sweet spot for anyone who hates earbuds but also doesn't want over ears. They're light, comfy, and last forever.
