Every character is a monster on the outside and on the inside. BB Hood is the only human character, yet, she is an absolute monster on the inside. And I think she is the most dangerous of all because she could easily gain your trust and then boom: a bomb dropped on your head.
The level of animation (even Bulleta's dog!), the fantastic soundtrack...if the Darkstalkers series wasn't a labor of love for video games, then I don't know what is.
Darkstalkers was literally one of the main games that got me into animation in the first place. incredibly dynamic poses, snappy timing, and so much detail packed into even small actions. I wanted SO badly for them to develop a new on on the CPS3 engine back in the day. Could you imagine Darkstalkers with Street Fighter 3 or Warzard's level of visual fidelity and smooth animation? To me Darkstalkers had everything you could want in a fighting game...except for the sales figures Capcom wanted 😒

Sorry auto correct writing a story. I’d like it to be a videogame and I’ve got a wide cast of characters as it majorly combines universals monsters and fairytales intertwined around an original plot. Darkstalkers and Lunar are the heaviest inspirations but classic manga and anime like Devilman, Inuyasha, Berserk, Vampire Hunter D and others are the heaviest inspirations as far as aesthetic goes, and gameplay mirroring Double Dragon from neo geo, street fighter style with some variations and interesting mechanics.
Absolutely love the unique character designs and fluid movements of Darkstalkers.... So. Much damn. Fun playing and. Watching others play back in the day....

Scariest part is this is essentially Lore-accurate B.B. Hood. Her murderous aura is so overwhelming, she makes S-class Drarkstalkers shiver in fear. To give you an idea, planet-conquering enbodiment of the sun Pyron is *S class.* Yeah, Bulletta is seriously fucked up.

Not sure why I didn't comment on this one when I originally watched it, considering Bulleta is now one of my top gaming waifus, along with Ninon & Ingrid. Be that as it may, I merely wanted to say that if it were not for Nestor's Final Fight LNS Ultimate fangame, I probably wouldn't have taken much notice of her period. I was aware of her, but having never played any of the Darkstalkers games, that was about as far as it went. (^_^) She really is peak Akiman though, isn't she, that's for sure, and clearly inspired by my fellow countryman Roald Dahl's version of Red Riding Hood. Very sadly, she's also of an era which will never come again because Capcom USA has slipped too far down the proverbial rabbit hole; much like the way Sega USA did with not allowing anything 2D on the Saturn, only this time it's attractive female characters. The fact that you easily dodge their attacks without getting hit ONCE is insanely impressive!! You must've played this game long enough to memorize their attack patterns because i would not be able to do that😅
