@@Longhauler85 Oh he is...when we wake up in Oklahoma and we see Cantore here, we always just groan!! I think Cantore has chased with Reed -- I think it was the Dominator 4 time period.
My favorite thing about Reed is that no matter how many intercepts he makes, his excitement comes across as though it's his first. I just love this guy!
This was some of the most heart stopping chase footage I've ever seen, and I've been obsessed with tornadoes since I was a kid (I'm 35 now.) OML it looked like a scene from hell! The roar of the wind, the constant lightning (a lot of red lightning too!) and pitch black skies with the towering blue-green meso with clear skies next to it... holy smokes what an intercept!
@@scottkennedy9112I have actually, but I had completely forgotten it so thanks! I just watched it again and I remember thinking the same thing that it was like a "scene from hell." I have the same visceral reaction to it as I had with this tornado, my heart actually starting to race just seeing it on my tiny phone screen.
Same my guy, grew up in central illinois (37 now) and have always had an infatuation with severe weather. There's so much beauty in those scenes of hell, mesmerizing. The structure of this storm towards the end from afar was near perfect
@@MRDOODBEAMS Aw man you lucky bastard lol I live in the Atlanta area so I get lots of severe weather and usually at least 2 or so tornado warned storms but actual tornadoes have a way of (thankfully) avoiding my county for the most part. Kind of wish I could live out there, at least during tornado season. Not the winter though. Y'all can keep that nonsense, thank you.
Just passed by the guys filling up in Topeka about 3 miles from my apartment, a surreal experience, I've been a fan for so long! Very happy the storm didn't affect the Topeka area. Never stop chasing!
I’m 69 Years old Great Grandma and I Used To Live In Tennessee in a Small Town Call Martin and I was Outside On Our Porch And A Tornado Was Coming Towards Me And My Mom Came And Pulled Me In The House And We went In A Small Room in the Back Of The House, That Tornado Skip Our House And Destroyed Many Homes And A Club.
Reed: "Yeah I'll take a Wrangler, we're gonna be doing a little off-roading" Rental agency rep: "When you say off-road, you don't mean LIFTING off the road, right?"
i love how no matter how many tornadoes Reed sees, he’s always so excited like it’s his first time seeing one! i feel the same way about storms, the power and beauty of it is incredible
This was stunning! Absolutely amazing! I so appreciate what you all do, but I could only watch half of the video…too intense for this former child of Kansas. Tornadoes were our “bomb threats” when I was growing up. Those sirens…I can still recall how panicked they made me feel…rushing to neighbor’s basements or grandma’s storm cellar. Feeling that eerie calm right before…hearing the wind…the tornado drills in school. I was well into adulthood when I finally stopped having my monthly nightmares - all kinds of tornadoes - sometimes single monsters and other times a line of many across the horizon. Closer and closer they came. We would scramble for shelter and I’d always wake up right before they hit. Chills. Thank you for your bravery and education…be safe out there…prayers and blessings…I still love my home state…despite the storms, Kansas has the most beautiful blue skies of any place I’ve ever been and the best dreams were always brought on by those famous thunderstorms…you could smell the rain wafting through that Kansas Summer breeze from miles away, right through your open window…gently blowing the sheer curtains as we drifted off to sleep.
amazing footage, I always tell people if Reed is broadcasting live in your city or town and looking at the skies be on super high alert because this guy know his s**t. When it comes to tornadoes, floods or hurricanes this guy is one of the best weather experts out there.
Awesome video reed. You all are amazing. Awesome chase and stream. Have a great evening reed and Edgar. Awesome job Brian. Thank you for all that you do. Night. Never stop chasing
Im so glad i watched this video! I now know without a doubt that i have drove through 5 or 6 tornados. Atleast 5 or 6, ive seen the wind blowing and vehicle rocking just like that and never seen anything on the ground, just like that. Amazing 🤯
Reed, I used to be a rabbit hunter. I swear you can sniff out those tornadoes like a Beagle can sniff out a rabbit. Great footage! Those lightning flashes behind the vortex turning it from white to black were incredible!!👍👍
I've been so lucky to just hop in to his streams randomly at the right times. These storm chasers are amazing at what they do. Better than watching the weather in your area. I recommend catching one of these live, its such an amazing experience.
Just finished watching Tornado Glory WOW that was intense. Been a long time for that. Glad to see your still doing this. Been watching your footage that long now. This is awesome.
Reed I’m from Ohio and been fascinated by tornados my whole life got trained as a weather spotter and meteorology when I got out of high school I’m 31 years old and it’s my dream to go with you on a chase!!! If you ever take anyone out or allow people to help the team in any way I would love the opportunity!!! Thank you so much and stay safe out there doing some of the most important work in meteorology!!!!
And on to another! It was just beautiful!! And it had it all -- horizontal vortices of inflow, multiple vortices down from that textbook wall cloud!! My husband Richard did an interview with Reed about a month ago and I was SO unhappy that I couldn't go!!😢 I just ❤ Reed's courage. I know a LOT of data are taken and analyzed after the fact, but Reed has the courage to actually get there to collect the data!!
I lived in Kansas in the 70's. HE IS AN ALIVE ONE!!!. Wished I had met up a month ago in California. Like they say, its like he had never seen a tornado before, such knowledge and enthusiasm.
That tornadic cyclone was demonically nasty.... what a thrill!!! I love the rear inflow jet... you know this one is going to be big, the power of mother nature is amazing. NSC Reed... but stay safe man. We can't lose you. 🦃🦃🦃
That gap in the clouds is absolutely amazing and humbling to see. Also very picturesque tornado's against the uniform grey background with the lightning.
I lived until age 44 in Oklahoma. I have been within a mile of over 20 tornadoes. I had a separated garage lifted up, moved 6 feet and sat down gently like a parent putting a baby into a crib. As a preteen kid, I've sat on the hearth of our fireplace on Dec 7th and that entire fireplace external to the house was torn off and slammed so hard into the ground that it looked like a 12 foot long brick sidewalk! I saw a glass thermometer that somehow had a small piece of straw about 3 inches long inside of it and THERE WAS NO BREAKAGE OF THE GLASS! How could that even happen? I've seen many pieces of hay straw imbedded 3 inches deep into a telephone pole! I had a brand new black Camaro beaten by so much large hail that they had to replace the hood and quarter panels. I've seen square miles of hundreds of houses with ONLY THE SLAB LEFT! All the pipes for those houses were flattened against the slab! I've seen cars at a mall stacked 6 cars deep and all of them were flattened from the top down to the middle of the car. This last paragraph was in Wichita Falls, TX.
I love how Reed hasn't changed one bit - the same passion, intensity, and skill that we first saw on Storm Chasers 17 years ago. Every tornado is like his first tornado. An absolute LEGEND!!!
The only thing scarier than a tornado warning in your area is seeing Reed drive by you excited.
😂 😂 totally getting this put on a T-Shirt 😂😂😊
Or stop in front of your house!
Reed is like the Jim Cantore of tornados 😂

Car rental places must flinch when they see Reed walk in the door 😅
Either that or they see a dollar sign with two legs and a sweet pair of new balance
The true nightmare of rental car places😂
Which car do we want to have an insurance claim on today?
Reed should video his car rental return lol
Dude I’m sure pays a sh*t ton for premium coverage

That radar signature was textbook. Perfect, absolutely 💯 no mistaking it.
I enjoy how Reed turns into Rick Flair with the "WOOOOOOO" when he gets excited. Great Job Mr. Timmer.
Reed is the GOAT. What I wouldn’t give to chase with him.

What an awesome wide angle view that was! Really brings out how powerful a storm can grow.
Great job. That funnel coming down separately from that MASSIVE lowering on the left was wild.

As a 1974 tornado survivor…this is the most awesome video I’ve ever seen of a tornado Thank you Reed for all your research…it truly does save lives!

Me: No, Im watching Mr. Reed intercept a tornado.
