Neville was best character. He showed us being brave may be scary, but it is worth it. It was sad watching fail and be bullied until it stops and he has to fight for his life. He was never that sad character you laugh to, he was the character you related to the most. He was like Hufflepuff but he did show us anyone can be brave. He the kindest, bravest and yet he was the one suffered the most, the most bullied. Neville suffered by seeing his parents yet them nothing who he is. Neville suffered the most and yet he was the kindest, not even Harry Potter did that, he had his moments when he snapped but never snapped, he just got better
In my opinion Harry Potter suffered a lot he lost his parents when he was a little child and he left with his uncle and aunt who is not kind . But I agree with you that Neville suffered a lot and bullied lots of time at school but at least he have his grandma who love him but Harry saw his own godfather die infront of him
Every time I watch deathly Hallows part 2 with my mum She is always like, "come on Neville, save the day" and I love how he doesn't have much confidence in himself for the first couple of movies, but then all of a sudden, he stands up to the Dark Lord himself. He never knew why he was put in Gryffindor, but he started growing confidence in himself, that's what makes Neville Longbottom braver than anyone I could imagine. HEARTWARMING STORY ISN'T IT?❤❤😭😭❤❤
Neville counts to my favorite characters in HP. I always think he is underrated. For most of the people he was that clumsy, funny and a bit awkward kid, but he is so brave and he has such a kind heart.
There is so much depth into Neville's character. On the surface he looks so clumsy and useless, but inside him, there is so much sadness (about his parents) and he wasn't that good in school cause he didn't believe in himself (that's what I think). But then, with good friends like Ginny, Luna, and the trio, he really became someone strong, he was able to believe in himself, and I think he is a true hero. He is one of my favorite character, he is also one who changes the most in my opinion. He went from zero to hero, if I may say...but I always liked him from the begining. nice video
Thanks. And I agree with you about Neville. I think his confidence had been shattered by the high expectations of his relatives, and the fact that he was using his father's wand for his first 5 years of magic instead of one that chose him.
When I saw him at the end with Luna it made me wanna cry because it's the last time we see him 😭 I always appreciated him, but I was seeing him as a clumsy unlucky bullied kid (which broke my heart because I can relate), like everyone. I also thought he had his cute clumsy charm, you see. But at the end of the saga, wow ! He has completely changed and became that badass brave young man ! One of my favourite moments is his powerfull speech to Voldemort, because it shows how much he has grown up and how much he was loyal. And of course, the moment where he kills the snake, I love it too, it's for me the most heroic act of any character of the movie. He saved Ron and Hermione and killed Voldemort. We don't see him again after that (which is a shame), but we just all know he will grow up to become what he already is, a badass, loyal, kind, caring, brave, sweet man. (And he will also become very handsome (more than he already was) as he grows up ^^) So, that's why Neville Longbottom is my favourite Harry Potter character. And I'm glad other people think the same way. ❤
the film doesn't mention it, but (if I remember it well) Neville was the resistance's leader within Hogwarts. He coordinated the clandestine radio broadcasting and convinced Dumbledore's brother to unseal the secret passage. Since Order of the Phoenix, he stopped being a clumsy character to become a badass guy.
The shy ‘dumbo’ kid who wasn't living up to the expectations of his gran and his parents reputation, who questioned the sorting hat's decision to put him with the brave gryffindors... The hat knew the best. You can see the anger in his eyes on finding out about Bellatrix's escape. You can see the bravery in his eyes.
Brave is not the person who is not afraid, but the one who, in spite of being afraid, faces it with determination. Neville Longbottom, the bravest of all.
When Brave stared playing I just had to let some tears slip away. The buildup is truly endearing and I don't know about the lot of you, but I felt really moved. I relate to Neville the most of all, from his backstory sentimentals to his school life and even to how he sees himself. I remember when my father showed up to fix my sister and I's passport as a sign of truce with mum. They broke up a long time ago by that time and their parting was a messy one, which also became one of my roots of my trauma and startling nature. When our father came, he brought us somewhere but it surely wasn't the department we were supposed to be, instead he brought us to the mall. Why should I be upset about this? I know why, but I don't know why that was the reason. At that time I was already easily frightened and vulnerable and being around my father stirred discomfort deep within me because my mindset had been burned with the idea that whenever he was involved after they broke up, trouble would always come. I felt like I was betraying my mother even though I didn't know how this would literally be betrayal. Going to the mall with him, still didn't ease me up inside. I felt like something bad would happen, and I was hoping we would at least pass by the department to check our passports but he simply said he already got assigned a schedule so we had nothing to worry about-but as a child I already knew that he wasn't telling the truth. Yes, he was being selfish just to be with us, but I just can't help but feel uneasy. My sister and I got home to my uncle since he's our guardian while mom is away and working her back off. When I told mom we went home safely, she asked how our day was; I didn't tell her we did nothing productive and that we just enjoyed (well, my sister did) the day, and just told her half the truth: that we already had a schedule assigned to us. Even mum's sister, Aunt Mila was asking me about how it went, asking me for details. How could I provide information I had no hold of? I answered her vaguely while I felt myself jittering with guilt. Why did I feel guilty? Was it because I was thinking too much of the situation? Was it because I knew mother would be disappointed in me again? To tell me off again? Even when it wasn't my fault? One day, but not too far from that 'adventure', I opened my messages and went to chat my former adviser. He became a keeper of my secrets and inner voice when I knew I couldn't tell mum about it. I then proceeded to tell him about the day with my father. Sir asked if I enjoyed it, I admitted that I didn't. I sincerely wanted the day to go by how mother wanted it to, I didn't want anyone to look down on me more than they already had (despite, you know, it not being in my control or it not being my fault). I told him everything and in return he listened. I asked him: what am I supposed to do? I'm scared of telling mum the simple admittance that we did nothing that day, as well as the fact I knew the 'assigned schedule' was merely an alibi. I'm scared I'd tick off another bar of trust she had in me. I'm scared I'd tick off another bomb of a fight between the elders. I'm scared of.. I became scared of every possibility I couldn't control that still lasted to this day; that even if I had no control over, I was afraid to be judged and to disappoint, because I knew that whatever I did, whatever I said, however I saud or did it, they wouldn't listen. And if they didn't listen, I'll have to make the first, advanced move that held every right thing and every explanation that I hoped wouldn't cause confusion and disappointment. I became a perfectionist because of my anxiety, and I began to slack of because of my anxiety. After opening up all of those bottled up emotions that still weren't all of it as I had much more to say but with my hazy mind, forgotten, Sir Harry processed my words and replied by sending me a message along with a link to a RUclips Video. And that video was the song this music video was playing, Brave. Through the original music video, I knew what he wanted to tell me. That I should just go with it, without no plan, and just tell my family that simple thing. I wish I could follow Sir Harry's words until now, I wish I could bring back the bravery and courage he gave me that very day. But before was before, and before wasn't now. It either isn't tomorrow. I don't really know what my point was, but I guess it's driven by the anonimity. That no one would find out I wrote this, that no one could find out who I was. All I could conjure for an answer was that this music video brought up a smile and a tear. :))
I love neville. I loved him from the begging. At my book club we were talking about who we would date in thier first year and I said neville and they all just kinda stared, I picked him because he's just a big sweetheart and I just always want to reach into the book and hug him and tell him that he is so important.

i relate to Neville a lot from my 15 years of school till now we both have a lot of similarities beiny shy ,introvert but neville was brave and helpful 😊😀
two people matched the requirements for "vanquishing" the Dark Lord according to the prophecy by Trelawney.. Neville and Harry.. vanquishing the Dark Lord does not necessarily mean kill him.. it could very well mean to subdue or defeat.. the moment Nagini was destroyed, Voldemort was no more the infamous 'Dark Lord'.. he was just a defeated 'Tom Riddle'.. so the prophecy could've very well referred to Neville.. as for me, I do believe it's Neville.. Harry can be the Boy who lived, the Triwizard champion, Master of Death and so on.. but Neville was the boy who vanquished the Dark Lord
I consider it was a joint effort, since Neville's slaying of Nagini was only one step in the process of vanquishing the Dark Lord. Also, while Voldemort himself was still alive he could always create more Horcruxes and start all over again, so killing him was essential for his downfall.
@@WizardingWorldshoppingchannel well think about it this way.. after Nagini was destroyed, Neville, Harry or anybody for that matter could've very well gone and stabbed Voldy with the sword of Gryffindor, or just simply strangled him, beaten him to death or thrown him off from somewhere high.. the Malfoys bailed, Bellatrix was killed, no powerful death eater to aid him.. there was no way Voldemort was getting outta there alive to create more horcruxes.. he was weak or precisely "vanquished" thanks to Neville..
@@anirudhrox8839 Just because Voldemort was mortal once Nagini died doesn't mean he suddenly became powerless. He was just as dangerous a wizard as he ever was. His only problem was he put his faith in the Elder Wand when in fact it answered to Harry.
@@WizardingWorldshoppingchannel you serious? as each horcrux was destroyed one by one, Voldy started growing weaker and weaker.. and when the final one was destroyed, he was as weak as he could ever be.. so weak that a simple disarming spell killed him (Harry used expelliarmus, I think, correct me if I'm wrong), it is not about "killing" the Dark Lord, it is about "vanquishing" him 🤷🏻♂️
@@anirudhrox8839 I think you must be interpreting the movies - I'm using book canon, as I usually do. Having said that, I don't see any evidence in the movies for what you say. Certainly Voldemort appeared to feel the destruction of each Horcrux but I didn't see it weakening him. As for the final battle, it looked to me as though Harry killed Voldemort with Avada Kedavra, (see Bellatrix's death for reference) then finished off with a flick of Expelliarmus to retrieve the Elder Wand, which had failed Voldemort because it belonged to Harry.
I have watched this several times. It's cute to think how far Neville has come. This was the first video I watched from you and this got me into like all the others.
You have shown me a life-changing song in such a good way that I was able to listen! I was singing it to myself when my bully Tyler hit my best friend and my other bully Ashton wacked me round the head, so I stood up to them with using no violence, and they walked away! Thank you! 💝
That's so wonderful to hear! ❤️ Such an empowering experience, I would imagine, turning away violence with only the force of your words and feelings. Sing on!
awee! this is so cute! neville is just...well you know...brave! yea maybe he wasn't the best but he did a ton of great things. that's why he's 1 of my faves❤
I just finished watching the series for the first time and Neville was my fav way back. I love how the vid showed the bits of notes, he's such a great character. Cute, awkward, underdog, brave.
I feel like trash for laughing at the part when Neville fell and the lyrics started again saying "ouch". Perfect timing 😂 But honestly I love Neville's character/personality
+Ashley Greene He was deliberately underrated of course, in order to make a point about the nature of heroism. But who knew Matthew Lewis would turn out so gorgeous? (I'll bet Neville never looked that good!)
+Wizarding World shopping channel haha he is really good looking now. and I agree that it was to make a point. but I also think it's kind of amazing how much he grows as a person throughout the story
Thanks, EP. I so loved the part in GoF where Mrs Weasley hugs Harry in the hospital wing. There's so much in the movies about Harry's substitute fathers, but Molly was his mother and she didn't just offer him a lot of food.
Neville, he is the best, people know that harry is orphan and we should love him, but people don't know that Neville is too orphan and he also need love!
if you ever feel like giving up then remember Neville Longbottom and his turnaround

I think you must be interpreting the movies - I'm using book canon, as I usually do.
Well, yay Neville then : )
I love this video!!! The way Neville's character development is portrayed. Amazing!!! and the captions at the bottom, its so cute!!!
+Cayally Jeyanth Thanks - I just did my best to channel Neville :)
I think this might be my favorite video ever
Thanks - that's lovely to hear :)
Sing on!
4:15 the Cruciatus curse being used on the spider reminded him of his parents, now I understand his reaction to it, it hurts💔💔
🤗
awee! this is so cute! neville is just...well you know...brave! yea maybe he wasn't the best but he did a ton of great things. that's why he's 1 of my faves❤

I just finished watching the series for the first time and Neville was my fav way back. I love how the vid showed the bits of notes, he's such a great character. Cute, awkward, underdog, brave.
+AlwaysInTheShade Yeah, a great big loveable dork :)
Neville is the best !!! 😄
🐸🐸!
The password-forgetter turned into the one who killed nagini, a voldemort horcrux
Neville longbottom is my favorite character!
So 'Brave' came on on my Pandora station and I could think of the entire time was Neville and this video.
I hope you're not in Australia or New Zealand or, like me, you're about to lose Pandora!!!! 😩😳😱😖😞
Wizarding World shopping channel I'm Aussie like you!
G'day.
I feel like trash for laughing at the part when Neville fell and the lyrics started again saying "ouch". Perfect timing 😂 But honestly I love Neville's character/personality
+Samantha Butler If you're trash for laughing, what does that make me? xD But I'm sure you detected that it was supposed to be pathos, not ridicule...
I love these they make me cry I love them
your edits are the very best, they make me wanna cry 😥
Aw, thanks ☺️
Love This video and my favourite quote from this video was faces Dumbledore’s army and is it just words to you or are we all going to stick together
Neville was one of the most underrated characters in the series but he was one of my favorites too
+Ashley Greene He was deliberately underrated of course, in order to make a point about the nature of heroism. But who knew Matthew Lewis would turn out so gorgeous? (I'll bet Neville never looked that good!)
+Wizarding World shopping channel haha he is really good looking now. and I agree that it was to make a point. but I also think it's kind of amazing how much he grows as a person throughout the story
+Ashley Greene The Hat didn't put him in Gryffindor for nothing, I guess.
Neville is my favorite character
(Is it bad that this is the 5th time I’ve watched this video today)
Well I'm not complaining :D
37th....
Lyndz W
Still not complaining...
Not complaining either :)
I love this
Neville is such a sweet kid he deserves all the love
Yeah, he certainly didn't deserve all those awful things Draco did to him in the books.
This gives e much different perspective of Neville (a good one of course) but this video is amazing definitely a well used ten minutes of my life 😻
Thanks 😀 I'm glad the time was worth it.
This video is unavailable on some viewing devices, so try watching on a computer, laptop, tablet or iPod instead.
The other boy born at the end of July ...x x x
Wizarding i just finished the goblet of fire and OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO COOL!!
Thanks, EP. I so loved the part in GoF where Mrs Weasley hugs Harry in the hospital wing. There's so much in the movies about Harry's substitute fathers, but Molly was his mother and she didn't just offer him a lot of food.
Thank you.
You're very welcome, sir.
Professor Neville Longbottom I
Professor Neville Longbottom hey Neville
when he talked about his parents that just killed me
I love these they make me cry you should be proud I hardly cry I love these
I'm glad you enjoy them.
WAIT WHY WAS NEVILLE LOOKING FOR LUNA!?!?!?!?!?😱😱😱😱😱😱😍😍Time for Luneville!!!!
Because the script writer inserted a romantic interest that wasn't in the books.
The Flores Musician he has a crush on her
I always call it nuna
But in the end they didn't end up together
I cry.
(>' ')>

Neville long bottom is my favorite harry potter character
Mine too
Aww thank you :)
Neville is my fav
aww neville!
Neville, he is the best, people know that harry is orphan and we should love him, but people don't know that Neville is too orphan and he also need love!
An orphan but not an orphan since Neville's parents were both still alive - that was the tragedy for him.
Neville and Harry have the Two Sadist backstorys.
Harry: Parents Murdered
Neville: Parents torchered to insanity.
Emilai Young *saddest
Emilai Young *Tortured
Neville's life was worse, his parents are alive but they don't remember who he is.
Harry's parents just died, as Neville said "people die everyday!"
Seriously.no lie. This vid made me cry.
Then you may need a cyber-tissue /\
Neville have Friends ☺
I'm he friends
My friend is gonna like this video as much as I do because it basically is him!
