Hi Carrie! I'm currently studying costume and make up design and I'm just wondering about the shows where the cast do their own make up, are yous given face charts and a step by step of how to o your characters make up or are yous shown by the make up artist and then expected to remember each detail because I'm curious to know how it works!
I was about to ask this very question! (in a less technical way)
Erin Lynch not sure if it's the same as les mis but I'm pretty sure there she was given the make up because I THINK she mentioned having to wear Mac foundation despite by really liking it also in les mis she did her own make up so maybe it's the same?

I saw the show tonight and OMG I loved it! You were incredible as was the rest of the cast but I also loved the set and costume and lighting! The production as a whole is just incredible. PS I love your Wednesday dress!

I met you at stage door and I maintain that that moment made the best day of my life twice as special. I bawled my eyes which I never intend to do again because it makes me look hideous. I walk through the Festival Theatre car park everyday on my way to uni because my building (the music department) backs onto the theatre in Nicolson Square. I'm handing in my last essays of my degree next Wednesday and then I'm going to come to the matinee as a wee celebration treat for finishing my degree!!! Good luck with the opening! I'm coming to see the musical tomorrow afternoon. Been studying in Edinburgh for 4 years which is now coming to an end and this may be the last show I go to see! Easy access to theatre shows has been one of my favourite things about living here and I will really miss it. I went to see the show last night in Edinburgh, and it was amazing with the right amount of kookiness! The entire cast and crew were wonderful. I hope that everyone enjoys the show as much as I did when the see it (and if you don't have tickets yet I suggest you do 👍) I am hoping to go again, so I can take my mum. Carrie your performance was incredible and hearing you sing live was something else "Pulled" blow me away. Great job!
