We got no food brought to us which I was very upset about 😂😂 everyone just bought bits for the baby! Batch cooking was one of the best things I did.
Our little girl was 7lb13 & went straight into Tesco size 1 nappies & newborn clothing, we never bothered with size 0 or tiny baby. Clothes sizing varies so much brand to brand, some newborn stuff lasted her 1week whilst others she was still in at 3months!
Regarding diapers, my experience so far has been that you can adjust them as you please, so they fit - it's clearly do-able if you have them with 1 size higher (like instead of 0 to use 1 from the beginning) than the other way around. I've used size 1 from the beginning - now my baby is almost 2 months old, I had no issues.
You should do the prepregnancy clothes challenge before baby comes! Might be fun to look back on.
😂 I’ve seen some of these on TikTok, not for me haha! Xx
Maybe we were unlucky (he was born in June 2020 so I don’t think we could have visitors back then) but no one brought us any cooked food 😄🙈 so I was really glad we batch cooked. Also, baked goods are amazing during night feeds. I was DESPERATE for sugar in the first few months. Size 1 Aldi was perfect for my average newborn (he was 7lb 3oz) so I wouldn’t worry.
Size 1 and 2 in Aldi are really good quality, I wouldn’t bother with Pampers, they are just as good if not better.
Thank you!!! Xx
