My son is a bugler with the band at the moment, made my day seeing him on this video, i will be ar windsor next month to see my 2 lads one bugling and the other going on guard there, both Rifleman cant wait. Thanks for the video its great 👍🏻🇬🇧
I agree this was filmed very well indeed, a very good presentation. Yes interesting to see the band playing typical scores that the Guards bands would render when returning the old Guard, in contrast to the 140 paces per minute that the Light Infantry/Rifles bands would use.
C Company of the 2nd Battalion of the Rifles (they are doing changing the guard for a little) I didn't think they were starting till next week but they still look amazing!
Great video! It must have been great to see the Band marching both at both 140 and 120 beats per minute ! The marches are: Silver Bugles Mechanized Infantry Glorious Victory Wellington Highland Laddie
It was certainly unusual. I really liked the bugle sound. When the Bugles went silent, the air suddenly felt a bit hollow. Anyway, truth is, I was quite grateful for the 120. I 'really' did not fancy having to film between sprints down to the barracks. :) And, as usual, many, many, thanks for the music listing, Sir.
Cynocephali It was lucky they played the light infantry music I knew as I am not so familier with it! I saw on Facebook today that Th e Waterloo Band and Bugles of the Rifles (army reserve band) are in Windsor next Saturday will you go and film them too?
Afternoon MBE. Best that I can say is that I would like to go... work and weather permitting. I do have a couple of other issues at the mo bu,t as a rule of thumb, I am keen to pop over to Windsor whenever I can. We'll see.
It was a great pleasure to meet you, Sir. You rather took me by surprise. I am not used to people walking up to me in the street and asking if I have a youtube channel. There is a first time for everything :D
Love how the clown in front thinks he's part of the band, as these guys are one of the fastest paced marching bands in the world the clown in front will probably get trampled on....haha superb band.
I think youll find that the fore runner of this regiment , were the only british who fought for the north against the south in the american civil war!!

Also, I love when they play "Highland Laddie" without the bagpipes it sounds amazing too :D

when you watch this you can really see how cutbacks have had an impact
Great to hear The Rifles playing different music esp like them doing Hielan Laddie
Great video thanks for sharing 👍
And thanks for saying so. Cheers Sir !
Haha... the Band of the Rifles having to play at the usual army pace on the way back down from Windsor Castle...
I bet they were pleased to march a bit slower!
emptyangel yes
It’s the band and bugles of the rifles. not the band of the rifles!
Funny how the constable is strolling along while the band is marching at the infantry march.
I metThe officer on the way back at the colonels review he is nice
Well that is a sedate pace for the return to barracks, No doubt the guard's would not kept up to a gruelling pace😓😓😓tyvm much for posting.
I was at this changing of the guard at Windsor castle it’s was amazing also I’m in the video 😝😝
I was as well 😀
Yes you were. Clocked you down at the Barracks :)
Should of made the Guardsmen march at the Riflemen's quick march on the way to Barracks :D
No doubt that would have been the fastest that policeman has ever walked lol, well done to the band and guard mount very smart indeed.
Lumpen copper spoils it all by ambling along like a dollop!
A right scruff as well
great
Bit early when they played highland laddie
Hey it sounded amazing so I'm not going to complain ha ha
neither am I
Brill !!!
I know its tradition but at 140 , does make it look like the end bit of the Benny Hill Show
I prefer the Coldstream Guards Band !
Why do they always pick the most gormless looking coppers to get in the way? If they can't find anyone presentable at least keep them to the side.
First and I met u today 😀 great vid

Nice meeting you to 😀😀😀😀
I go a lot and pic the same spaces as u :)
That is very wise, as I try to pick all the best spots ;)
U do
Do the Plod scour their ranks for their scruffiest officer especially for these parades?
Who's the scruff in yellow at the front?
Love how the clown in front thinks he's part of the band, as these guys are one of the fastest paced marching bands in the world the clown in front will probably get trampled on....haha superb band.
The colonel in chief in front of the band is an awful scruff.😂
that copper is a disgrace,
Sorry but its all a little American high school band for me... nice video.
I know but a cousin of mine served in the rifles.... just winding him up a little.....fit little buggers, like the Gurkhas.
A "little American high school band"? Give over man, is this a wind up? 😜
yep
Thought so 😃. My son plays for them, he's on the video.
