- I am VERY aware of the fact that as someone who has been lowkey obsessing over Felix’ music for years, I can’t help but be biased when it comes to him (as in there is NO ONE I expect more from and want to support as fully as Felix in all of music industry at the moment) - I am a sucker for ballads and Every Single Day is one of my favorite Melodifestivalen songs of all time and clearly THIS is not Every Single Day - Having said that, I was a bit confused on the first listening as I wasn’t sure whether I absolutely loved this or if this was a massive disappointment for me - As I found myself looking this song up before I had even left the arena, I knew the answer was what I wanted it to be - The power Felix has wow, this is catchy as hell and yet somehow it makes me a bit emotional too and as I said, this is surely no Every Single Day but Boys With Emotions has a special charm to it as well and I can see this as one of my most listened to songs of 2020 already - I can see how some people can’t enjoy this but personally I love everything about this - I love the message and the lyrics, this song has been stuck in my head since the moment I first heard it, Felix is wholesome as always and the staging is great too (and there are song titles that alone make me want to love a song and this for sure is one of those!) All in all, @ Sweden please don’t let me down again, I need to see this in the final!

Yes, he has an intriguing message and both his song and the staging are representative of a very popular sub-genre of pop, this modernized and monotonous style of his. And yes, the other songs are most definetely not far above his performance, but even so his vocals (if they can be called such) were in this instance horridly untrained and incessantly flat. I know his capabilities are of a higher calibre than he expresses in this event, but anyone with objective rationality recognizes that this performance was unusually supbar, likely himself before anyone else.

The song is decent and the stage performance is one of the best for the night, but the chorus..
There’s a lot of people upset this didn’t go direct but now it gets to start racking up streams and radio play, which can help it build momentum. Anyway, it’s a great entry and it’s nice to hear Felix talk more about how strongly he feels about the message of the song. 😊🙋🏻♀️✨

I think the little issue with this song is that it deals with an important message about toxic masculinity but the production is a bit over the top and the result does not seem genuine.
