Cold Steel Frontier Hawk practical review.

On site review of a good multi use tool that wont break the bank or weigh your pack down. I was trying to decide what would work best in my kit in the heavy chopper role. I have a few other things but none of them really strike the right balance between weight and function for me. I was looking at some larger knives when I came upon the Idea of a tomahawk in a magazine article. That got me to thinking one of these might be better than my small hatchet, or large bowie knife. So I bought one and decided to put it to the test so to speak. So far I really like the whole concept of the tomahawk, a tool that is lightweight, fast, sharp, and easy to repair in the field (in theory). I think it will also step up if ever needed as a fearsome weapon, with its reach and speed it could deal a devastating blow to an attacker.
