Love this video way to go man I know you're not making no more videos but this was very cool 10yrs ago I was like man I wish I could make one now I have I still don't have all the equipment but I'm working on it
I think you might mean if you cut and shut the original bike frame? It seems to me that Bill here welded his own main frame out of steel pipe- it's like the original frame but considerably stronger, and shaped specifically for the engine. That said, 50cc engines that bolted onto a standard push-bike frame were pretty popular fifty years ago, and the frames didn't need any real modification for that.
Damn impressive! I always loved the look of the rectangle look of the old Harley gas tanks. I was going to write to ask you if you knew the technical name of those type of tanks or where you could buy relicas. Then I saw you built your own, even more impressive Are those stock bicycle tires or did you beef them up? Damn impressive indeed.
Looks great! I really need a welder and a tubing bender.. I've been itching to do one of these for a long time. Might I ask where you bought the wheels?. I like the idea of internal drums to maintain the retro look. Looks like only the front has a brake though? Isn't that a bit risky?
lots of thanks ... i think i will build my own bike and i didnt now what type of metal use for modify the frame.. Ok thanks.. but, do you think that steel is easier to curve and modify this form??? bye And thanks
thanks for the info man. one more question, what is the 'unit' you put under the motor, that connects to the pedals? "transmission by any chance? Once again, she looks great. Very vintage!
what kind of treatment did you do to make the frame hard and indistructible? i'm asking you that because i read that if you mod a bike frame you make it less strong and you risk to break it while runnin due to vibrations and the forces applied to the frame
I'm curious how you would stop the inside of the fuel tank from rusting? I'm curious as I'm thinking of making my own fuel tank for a bike but am worried about the rust
I'm new at all this BTR stuff. Can someone please tell what that motor is under the engine? Does it help drive the pedals or something. I haven't a clue but I like how it fills in the drop loop frame. It's better than all these other "replica" BTRs that just use a piece of sheet metal to fill in the gap. I wanna know what it is and if it would fit on a Sportsman Flyer frame.
I'm sorry, I mentioned the soundtrack, but never said anything about the bike... BIKE's FUCKING GORGEOUS. I wish someday I could build something like this
Guy? isnt it sort of stupid to bend the hoop for the engine, and weld the thin in to the frame, and then not put the engine in it, istead you mounted it above, the cradle. Kind of a waist! hell with the engine hoop in the frame? bye a lawn mower engin or an old briggs& Stratton WPB engine and put it in the cradle.
As a bicycle mechanic you should just be happy the man built his own damn bike and be proud of him. Instead, you bitch like a girl about a "period". BOOOO!
Great looking build. The frame work and tank look fantastic.
Genius - true genius and a real pleasure to watch, good on you fella :-)
That's the idea that I was looking for, some simple as buying out the store, and make the bike looks old, fantastic!
Totally inspiring! I’m building a Board Tracker and you are number one motivation.
Love it, love the materials used and the concept! Making something out of nothing takes time, effort, and skill!
outstanding work, the bike is stunning, well done ..
This is just Great
Thank you!

You have such great talent.. Thank you for sharing as you are amazing.
Great! Now I'm addicted to board track racers! Thank you
Loveedd it, looks great!!!!!!
nice project man. i like how you fabricated the seat post. I was trying to figure out how to make my seat farther back. Gotta try and mcguyver it.
Well done, Champ. I love it!

freaking koool , nice work , very kool i have to try that up, of course also listening to alice in chains daaam
Lots of really good work here. Seriously, put a decent 4 stroke engine in this thing!
Epic mettle skillz sweet one off ride man.
Gee I wish I had a workshop. I have a small damp space under the house.
Sick!!!!
Damn impressive! I always loved the look of the rectangle look of the old Harley gas tanks.

Nicely done sir 🚲
great nice work dude i build the next year my own btr and this video helps me alot but how many time you spend for your bike and costs?
So bad ass. But why did you chop that poor hollywood? *crying*
Very nicely done
WOW Incredible build SIR!
Sweet build... Got a video of you riding?
Looks great! I really need a welder and a tubing bender.. I've been itching to do one of these for a long time. Might I ask where you bought the wheels?. I like the idea of internal drums to maintain the retro look. Looks like only the front has a brake though? Isn't that a bit risky?
what is that under the engine hooked to the chain if you dont mind me asking
i love the bike btw i am building a board track bicycle as well
Awesome Job.
Sweet build, did you make the spring-fork you put on it?
Im interested in putting something like this together but cant find a decent fork
can't like this enough!
VERY NICE! how much did the total project cost you (approx) and what kind of motor did you use?
very very interesting beautyfull work...awesome ;)...any video with the engine running?...regards from spain ;)
lots of thanks ... i think i will build my own bike and i didnt now what type of metal use for modify the frame.. Ok thanks.. but, do you think that steel is easier to curve and modify this form??? bye And thanks
that is a beutiful bike too good for that china gas engine.excellent job
I'm making my own board track style motorized bike and was wondering how well your drum brake works. I've been debating between disc and drum. Thanks!
I'm wondering what the round and finned gearbox is. Is it some sort of torque hub?
What kind of tires did you use? I'm having trouble finding ones that fit my ongoing project.
thanks for the info man. one more question, what is the 'unit' you put under the motor, that connects to the pedals? "transmission by any chance?
Once again, she looks great. Very vintage!
I'm wondering the same thing.
@ crazy fuvk you can get a good wheel set from worksman bicycle
Отличная работа.
I still dont understand that is the purpose of fan cluch in this project? When it becomes hot it will stop pedals. It makes no sense.
That how I did it, mama wasn't paying attention and I copped her Huffy and went at it, mine has 200cc motor and goes like the wind.
what kind of treatment did you do to make the frame hard and indistructible? i'm asking you that because i read that if you mod a bike frame you make it less strong and you risk to break it while runnin due to vibrations and the forces applied to the frame
strummy archer 3 speed hub! sweeett
this one is awsome
did you actually mig weld the gas tank together?
I did.
it wud be great if ypu can upload a video of riding this... :)
Thnk yu sow mutch fer puti'n dis vidio on!.
I'm curious how you would stop the inside of the fuel tank from rusting? I'm curious as I'm thinking of making my own fuel tank for a bike but am worried about the rust
Red Kote: www.amazon.com/Red-Kote-Quart-Sealer-Diesel/dp/B009X0JOSM
what kind of fork do you put on it? is it over size?
Of what material is made de frame? thanks
"Fantastic bike"
Bad ass

It's absolutely nothing but a filler for the exact reason you mention...how it looks.
NOT exactly.....the "motor" you mention is a car engine FAN CLUTCH. It would prevent the pedals to move directly connected to the bike engine.
what tha Equitment under the engine?
How did you make the gas tank. Just welded sheet metal?
Yes. Just welded sheet metal together. Then lined the inside of the tank with Red-Kote fuel tank liner.
nice bike :)
ridiculous. why put that massive loop in the bottom of the frame - and mount the engine way above it ??
Could you please tell me the frame details
@F650GSNB1629 what size are your wheels?
The Point Of It It Is Suppoused To Look Like A Board Track Racer.
what is the finned thing attached at bottom with a chain under the engine? any web links on that?
It is a Car Engine´s FAN CLUTCH. it prevents the pedals to be directly connected to the bike´s engine.
slicker-n-cat snot
Cool👍👍😃😃
Hello I'm from Argentina. I know the make of the original bike please. is a beautiful bike. thanks
)))nice engine)) Like D-6 from Soviet Union
I didn't use any treatment...and to be honest, I am not sure what you mean.
do you have the fraim designs on a photo .... if you do can you email them plese=)
Yes...just have to upload one...
What was the music for this video?
Check My Brain. by Alice in Chains.
great build. why that motor?
what is the song title
oh ya...i am SO GOING TO STEAL EVERY IDEA. very cool build..!!
English might be his second language. ;-), don't lower yourself, the bike is so much better then that :)
nice colour choice.by the way.
;) yeeeahhhhhh!!!!
Board trek recer the raplica
I love Alice in Chains, but man what an awful song for a Boardtrack racer video dude!!!! XD
I'm sorry, I mentioned the soundtrack, but never said anything about the bike... BIKE's FUCKING GORGEOUS. I wish someday I could build something like this
Got paint it
круто сделал
Alice in Chains BEST
Doom metal... lol ^^
PARÁDA! OK
Guy? isnt it sort of stupid to bend the hoop for the engine, and weld the thin in to the frame, and then not put the engine in it, istead you mounted it above, the cradle. Kind of a waist! hell with the engine hoop in the frame? bye a lawn mower engin or an old briggs& Stratton WPB engine and put it in the cradle.
Shame about the Soundtrack, otherwise a good Video.
i can never get to the end as the music is to loud and not needed.
Do you not have volume control on your computer? :-/
Crafty
why not use a good engine
Because it's expensive.
I got a 6.5 HP brigs off a lawn mower for 20$
I've got a line on an old Honda 350. Just gonna need time...
that will be cool
Dude get a life he can use whatever engine he wants
Check My Brain. by Alice in Chains.
As a bicycle mechanic, I can see you're certainly not using period-correct parts, or anything that even looks remotely period.
As a bicycle mechanic you should just be happy the man built his own damn bike and be proud of him. Instead, you bitch like a girl about a "period". BOOOO!
hate the fuckin song but cool bike
***** You hate Alice in Chains.? Or the new version of them?
No. Its a freakin good song !
Whats with this fake "board Track ""racket ,are people blind?
And another troll. Lucky me. 🙄
