Hello!!! Your video is really useful but I I’m stuck with this since after my phone got stolen y had to change my Apple ID password and so on and after that the keychain is not generating the code and I’m blocked from instagram. Do you know how I could get this code again? Thanks! (My new phone is not generating it)
I dunno i like a separate app with pin, i trust apple security but why give the passwords and 2fa in one place if your device password is compromised. Convenient for sure. Thanks for doing the video this feature was not covered very well by apple but you broke it down well! 🎉
Never realized that the iOS/macOS/Safari password manager can be used as a 2FA generator! Gonna ditch all my 3rd party 2FA apps and use Apple for everything now!
My iPhone was stolen. It was my Trusted Device and it had my SIM card for 2 factor authentication. Now I’m closed out of my Apple ID. Even apple can’t help me. So 2 factor authentication- never again!
@@h3nry_t122 I think this video explains it perfectly: ruclips.net/video/0Yt_plpVGuE/видео.html Using 2FA, you should always store your recovery key (or keys for most accounts) somewhere save.
Finally well explained!
Thanks!
How to share setup key of this iCloud pass to someone ?
Does this work on windows if you use the safari browser?

So, we’re you able to fix this? What happened? Can you give an update?
Why didn't you just use your recovery code?
