SO useful! Thank you!!! I've never bothered with these features because they seemed too complicated to learn. This was SUCH a simple explanation. So grateful, love your channel, thank you again!!
Thank you, thank you so much. Your little quick video helped me so much. i have been trying for about a week to learn how to change the color of my sketch lines and do some little effects that way. and nowhere that i looked showed me exactly how to do it. i even sent messages to others on youtube who i saw doing what i needed to know (they just did it without explanation).. when i requested how to info, no one got back to me. so i really appreciate your quick and easy, convenient demonstration.. take care
Great Info i like infinite painter But, I been using medibang and ibispaint because I like the stability feature a ibispaint rep said there lazy guide is the same but I doesn't seem to work the same special if you set stability to after in ibispaint any good tips or setting in Infinite painter for the same effects stability setting helps when iam using paint on my Note 20 ultra when I'm mobile thx
I've a similar phone and I *believe* there's also a phone stylus setting for stability but I swear I've also seen it in Infinite Painter. I like both ibis and Medibang but neither come close to Infinite for variety and simplicity. Double check the stability features for phone and Infinite. Good luck either way!
Is there some special trick to merging layers down while preserving the clipping effect? Like, to merge down without that hidden part reappearing and making a mess? I end up not using clipping layers in Infinite Painter (or clip studio paint) because I run into this same problem when merging down.
Wtf, why I cannot do it with multiple unclipped layers? I clipped multiple layers to layer 1 and made a circle just like yours, but then I created another unclipped layer on top of all those clipped layers. I made a new circle to try something different, I pressed the eye button to hide the previous clipped layers, and made a new clipped layer to the new "main" unclipped layer, but when I drew over it, it is completely invincible, and no, it is not hidden, and yes, the layer is selected. But for some reason it only works with the first layer 1 I made, the source of all the other clipped layers.

You're so welcome! 🤩😀
you are an under rated teacher in my opinion. hope for you the best
Thank you! I think this is more convenient than selecting a Layer or shape to prohibit lines going outside the object.
Absolutely!

💬 How to use Alpha lock : Coming Soon am wondering how soon???? would love to see
Thank you , I was struggling to understand clipping but this has made it so much clearer. How do I multiple select layers to move them Altogether?
When you select the transform tool of choice, you can open your layers and check multiple layers at one
Another great how to video! In the future could you possibly do a how to on the clone tool? Thank you for all your hard work, its appreciated!!
Great suggestion thank you 😃
This is so helpful! As always, thank you Joel!!! you're the man!

You’re an incredible teacher! Thank you.
You're very welcome!

What you clip to is what you are bound to

Awesome thanks for this i was looking for an app like this😁
No problem 😊
Instructive, helpful👏🌟👍
Thank you 😁
Thanks for the tutorial! Btw which brush are you using to shade
The soft airbrush 😀
@@joeldesigns Thank you!
Got my answer. Thank you 😊
You are very welcome :)
My clipping option doesn't work. I see in the thumbnail of the layer that I'm drawing something, but it doesn't actually appear on my project... 🤔
The layer it’s clipped to needs to have something on it in the area you want to draw in
@@joeldesigns that's what I realized 😅 thanks

I’m not entirely sure there’s a way. Unless you made a selection and copy and paste it as it’s shown on screen
@@joeldesigns oh that's a good point. hiding the background then copy-paste could work like a merging down, i will try that.
Thankss ☺️
Is the Alpha Lock (and how that's different than this) still coming?
This is still coming 😀
How did you create the initial circle? I do see the circle shape, but I do not see an option to fill it in?
you can use the fill tool, or you can create a circle but making sure your brush is set to Fills> then solid fill
✌🏿2 all. Thanks alot man!!! Great video. Exactly what I was looking for 💪🏿. #Salute 🫡. Peace
Brilliant 🎉
Thank you 🙏
감사합니다 ~^^♡♡

To answer your first question, because that would just be a regular layer.
Feel free to send a video of the issue to me on instagram
THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
You are very welcome 🙏
Here’s me still trying to figure out how to scale up and down 🤦🏻♀️
To think I've been gluing lawn-mower leavings to my face..
