In his last 3-homer game in 2019, d’Arnaud’s 3rd was a 3-run, go ahead and eventual winning homer against Arondolis Chapman in the top of the 9th at Yankee Stadium.
Really liking how our bullpen is set up for this series with the off day and then only having to use two guys tonight. AJ, Joe, Iggy, our high leverage dudes should all be fresh.
This Braves team is never built around one person. Every player is the straw that can stir the drink on any given night. May God continue to bless this team in every way!
d'Arnaud had the team's biggest underperformance according to wOBA/xwOBA splits with a .252 wOBA, .293 xwOBA, for a -0.041. So this big night will help to neutralize his splits.
I’m right there with Jake. Charlie makes me very nervous. He just doesn’t look like the same guy rn. Hopefully he will figure it out. We need him more then ever
Fletcher has had a decent career. No, he’s not going to put up crazy numbers but splitting time between him and Guillorme at 2b will be fine until Albies returns.
Between the two I'm far more concerned about Max than I am about Charlie right now. Charlie is throwing at the same kind of consistency and level early this year as he did early and at points last year. But he's at the point in his career where he is able to make something work when one thing isn't working. He's also at the end of his career and it's pretty well set in stone what kind of pitcher he is. He's also getting better and locking in and being a lot more unlucky than not good. Max hasn't been good at all this year. He's still very young and he's in a contract year and none of his stuff seems to work. He's never been this lost other than when he was a rookie. I respect you guys and your opinions but being more concerned about Charlie right now makes no sense to me. He is what he is and he's doing what he does. Max is mercurial at the moment
Tromp is fine as an emergency fill in player but he's not nearly as good either defensively or offensively as Murph and when you're missing Ozzie as well it means having two holes in the lineup that we normally don't have
Tromp has been solid with the bat and behind the plate. Nonsensical comment. He’s a third stringer that we’ve kept in the organization for years, for a reason. Get educated
Chris Sale's performance was beautiful.

It is looking good so far ... Quietly taking care of business ; head down and W's .

Braves had 6 hits in this game. 4 of them was HRs and another was an RBI single.
Spooky !

The Braves are silent killers so far.

Who is Fletcher and why was he in the lineup?
Defensive replacement for Albies
Albies is hurt. On the injured reserve list.

Check that catcher's bat for cork lol! That's some Sammy Sosa stuff right there!

I don't mind Travis having to be primary catcher at all, it's the days Tromp has to catch where I really miss Murph
Tromp has been solid
@@CADClicker He's been an auto out except for one game plus a lucky hit or two in garbage time
Tromp has been pretty good. WYM?? Especially offensively...explain please...

😐 It looked like Travis dArnaud might have had a fairly good game.
Michael Harris maybe coming out of his mini slump
Sign Bauer
No thanks
MLB still has not decided if he play again the last I heard. Until that's settled no one is going to sign him.
No clowns please
