- Boeing's Starliner capsule was scheduled to launch astronauts for the first time ever on May 6. A scrub was called about T-2 hours before launch.
Astronauts Barry "Butch" Wilmore and pilot Suni Williams will be the first NASA crew to fly to space aboard Boeing Starliner. Their mission, known as Crew Flight Test, will run for about a week at the International Space Station (ISS) to certify Starliner for future missions to last six months or so.

On the bright side the astronauts are still alive.
It was with the valve on the rocket. Not starliner it self. People just want to complain.
NASA should be very brave to put so many people on a Boeing spaceship...
I wonder the price of related insurance
What happen if the door fell-off in space.....
Starliner scrubbed and delayed, who could have possibly seen that coming.
What could go wrong?
After all. It's a Boeing.
The valve's fine, it's just some whistle blower's finger stuck in it
Hopefully they checked the door.
There are bolts, don't worry.
@@jojo-ep2pp No worry. Just like the bolts in the last jet right.
Oh man... Those valves
If its a Boeing.,it ain't going.
If its a Boeing, I ain't going.
@@bearly1727Booking flights must be very difficult for you
It was a valve on ULA rocket. Not starliner. Get the facts straight.
At this rate, they'll need to launch on SpaceX
If this spacecraft is built by Boeing, they need to do more than a week delay and check everything, floor, ceiling, door, just everything.
A valve issue? AGAIN?
Personally. I wouldn't sit by the door.
Call me insecure, but not on a Boeing.
Boeing planes are perfectly safe. You’re just paranoid
its the Boeing quality
Shhhhhht !! do you want to be next??
Scrub was caused by a ULA issue, not Boeing
The Boeing ain’t Goeing, the Pointy bit fell Off, the Crew needs more Xanax.
Boeing these days can’t even get the planes to work right, do you really trust them to build rockets?
Can you imagine if this was the rocket used to return astronauts from Mars. It would have been sitting there in Martian orbit for at least A YEAR. What are the chances that it would work? What are the chances that the liquid oxygen and even more so the liquid hydrogen had leaked away?
This wasn't a Boeing issue because they don't make the rocket. It is made by Lockheed Martin and the valve is their responsibility.
When i saw the flight schedule was for "may 6 at the earliest" i didnt think it was a vood sign
Boeing 737 Max! Need I say more??? Okay... I say more: If you can't even make a safe airplane to fly in the stratosphere, there is NOT much confidence in your launching a capsule with astronauts to space! "rocket valve issue"? Sounds like the "o-rings issue" on the Challenger space shuttle that killed all seven crew members aboard back in 1986.
To all the commenters: the valve problem was on the Centaur upper stage, not the Starliner spacecraft. So this was ULA's problem, not Boeing's.
Also, the launch was scrubbed out of an abundance of caution--they would have simply gone ahead and flown if this was an unmanned launch. So Boeing is doing exactly what y'all want it to do in this situation, with human safety.
Now the launch again is delayed again to May 24th because of a helium tank on the Starliner. Do you really believe this started with the bogus valve problem. Coverup! I predict the launch will not occur for months due to ongoing problems.
Lol its Boeing Id abort the mission period
Another failure. No surprise. I’d be very surprised if they actually flew.
No more last-minute launch failure. No more launch delay, No more cost-overrun. This suggestion is gonna work. In addition, it is the most cost effective alternative - that is NASA should team up with China CNSA to return to the Moon.
When will it come on if tonight is scrubbed?
Boeing? I don't think so.
as expected, its better than crashing, thanks nasa
What sound does an aircraft’s door make when it hits the ground? BOEING
A sign of failure. Can Americans be more serious about their work? Especially Boeing!
Boeing… We delayed the launch of our Starliner because we discovered door bolts in a worker’s toolbox.
Fly SpaceX.
Boeing is doing it's best and we wish it a full success.
Tell that to everyone who was sitting next to the hatch that blew and flew in the 737 max. Also don’t you think it’s odd that two of their whistleblowers have mysteriously died?!
Sounded like a lifter was knocking the last time started numbers 3 and 7 engines. Might want to call the shop. 😊
YGBSM!!! David Clark headsets??? panel finishing washers? Jesus Christ Boeing
Turn to page 187.
flying with starliner is like russian roulette
Boeing's Starliner capsule..... FAIL!!!!! again!!! now SPACE X investors will go up!!!, Boeing, down!!
I wouldn't trust Boeing with a toothbrush right meow
Thank goodness it didn’t take off! Starliner isn’t ready to fly and Boeing shouldn’t be making anything spacecrafts!
did a service panel fall off the rocket?
Missing bolts from the doors, apparently.
Valve issue on the centaur engine. Nothing to do with Boeing btw, they didn’t make the rocket
i told ya i was gonna be called off
Not fair. YOU have flown on a Boeing before, haven't you?
And the drama continues on.
