Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered Ch.13 Puzzle

Somehow when I play this game for the very first time a year ago I managed to get this puzzle correct on the very first try. I have no idea how I did it now. Thank you so much I'm on my second playthrough and I totally got stuck at this part and I can't remember how I did it the first time. These instructions in the notebook make no sense!!

absolutly this video helped i dont get what there all lookin or understand the puzzle. I dont know ancient spanish and i dont do puzzles. and yes i remember 8 years ago. I did not find this easy a video.

Nabil Zahrin i particularly liked uncharted 3's puzzles. tbf my favorite one was with the fire and the perspectives used to solve a puzzle by movings slabs of stone on a wall. loved it
