Man your channel is my favorite channel. I love how you show a little bit of everything. Where you don’t concentrate and show unattainable knives due to price or availability. You have tons of "budget friendly” knives and premium. I also love how you show manufactures that’s not really known brands too. Thank you for the variety Jared!! Happy new year!!
The best part of any of your videos or reviews are when you flip the knife backwards and say when you have it in the reverse gas station. Knife fight grip makes me laugh and chuckle every time. Anyway. Great video brother and I hope you and your woman have a happy new year
Love this video and thank you so much for shouting out Vu Pham! People if you don't watch his videos or know Vu, he is a super talented and a great guy 👏. He used to work for Kizer and he knows so much about every knife out there. Thanks Neeves for everything you do and for shouting out another outstanding guy Vu Pham! Follow him and watch his channel everyone. 🎉
So many great inexpensive knives released this year. The Kubey Titius with Ti scales is such a good knife for the price and the CJRB Pyrite is as well. All the big brands like Kizer, Civivi, CJRB, QSP, Kubey etc.. put out some amazing knives this year and the materials used are getting better and better. Some great innovation was done this year as well such as the use of magnets or Ultem, and new twists on older locks such as Kizer's Clutch lock. To get titanium and 14C28N for under $100 is excellent and not to mention more premium steels such as 154CM, 3V, and S35VN for under that price is great. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
Definitely a great selection of affordable knives. I've got a couple of Kizer's (Domin mini and a Swaggs Chili Pepper) and they have the best open/close action of any knives in my collection. Great video!
Civivi Klipper is one of my new favorite knives. CPM 3V is awesome. I have it in my fixed blade bushcraft knives like Bark Rivers and love it for ability to do harder tasks without chipping or rolling. This little knife is a workhorse!
Vision FG belongs in #1 position. 2023 was killer for fantastic knives, and I can't wait to see what these companies bring us in 2024. Happy New Year Jerad!
I dig the Vision FG. Gave mine away to a family friend that didn’t have a knife. I do prefer the Shark Lock, doesn’t hurt my finger like the Super Lock does.
Awesome list. Honestly, I thought the Dogfish would have ranked a little higher on the list. It is so good. But I definitely agree with the top 2 picks for sure.
I love Kizer’s 3V, my critical Mini stays sharp forever. The coniferous V is amazing, I can’t believe it’s not more popular. Civivi needs to make a premium Sentinel Strike, Nitro V and Aluminum scales/Carbon Fiber Backspacer.
I haven’t received it yet, but I bought the Civivi Qubit just to see if it could be used as a bottle opener as well so it’s funny you pointed that out. Nice video!
Kizer Coniferous is definitely underrated. I really like this knife. And you can definitely use the triangular tip as a glass breaker since the steel is hardened.
The Titanium Tityus is easily my favorite knife that I bought over this past year. It's pretty much a perfect knife IMO. Also love the Pyrite. The Ekko is also really good, but the detent is a bit too strong for my old ass fingers. Getting easier as it breaks in though. Happy New Year to you and Kara! ✌️
I beleive Im soeaking on behalf of us all ... we do appreciate your efforts in making these videos ... I just LLLLOOVE this type of videos the most .... thank you
I discovered the QSP Parrot and your channel back when Metal Complex was doing the Quest for the perfect budget knife, I bought the Parrot back the for about $20.00 and it was in 440c steel, the pivot is a duel washer system with a very thin bronze washer paired with a Teflon washer, I don’t think they changed that they just changed to D2 steel, I found that kinda disappointing and not really an “upgrade” in my opinion which is sad because I love the knife, I have gifted several of them and still think it is one of the best “bang for the buck” knives available, and it has the potential to be a great budget knife with a couple small tweaks. Love your reviews, keep up the great work, and hope for continued success with your channel. 😎
Great video! I have many of these knives and agree with you. You should try out the Kubey Nova as well ($100 BHQ), and maybe just as good as the Tityus.
I like that Kershaw iridium but that blade play is outta control. I picked up my first 2 button locks kizer original and Civivi altus and really like em. Qubit is next purchase. Take it easy.
Man You’ve used that Qubit even more than I have. Luckily they’re not to expensive to replace. Their slicing capabilities are addicting. Almost always in the pocket.
Call me crazy but there should be standard angles used on lock faces and tangs. At least for liner and frame locks. If we know what has worked in the past we should be able to replicate that. Just same angles every time. No?
Amazon have cheaper prices for some reason. I got the CJRB pyrite for $40 , titanium is for $60 , ecko for $45 Man I love these thanks a lot for posting these I am in love with these CJRB. I got pyrite Damascus with titanium , warnie version and satin steel look with drop point, ecko , mini pyrite. Man they are amazing for price and super fidgety. Can you believe 2 months ago, my cheapest knife was $800. But then in CCKS happen in November I decided to buy some budget friendly and I am hooked. lol I am abusing the hell out on CJRB PYRITE & CIVIVI MINI PROXY got both for $40 lol Thanks again Gerard hope I say your name right
I'm suprised that you don't have the amiriite on this list, you talked me into that knife and I like it it's probably my number 1 carry, tityus 360e, strike, vision, amiriite 4,3,2,1. In that order. Also have you tried the Kubey 122, because if you like the quibit, then you would definitely like the coeus. They are are kinda similar the coeus might even be thinner IDK I'll have to measure it and let you know
I simply screwed the clip from the Böker Magnum blue Jay onto the Civivi Vision fg. Visually, in terms of feel and in everyday life, it fits perfectly. 😅🤷♂️👍
I just got the vision fg today and I gotta say I'm kind of impressed great video and my higher end knives are gonna get put on the back burner for a minute
Love the video but the only complaint is you start the video and say praxis and elementum won't be in because they've been around all they did was change the lock type or blade shape. And then proceeds to list the first knife... Penguin in slipjoint. Been around a couple years and all they did was change the lock type. That was just right off the bat inconsistent but it's his video his opinions it's fine. The praxis for me would knock that penguin off in a heartbeat
My number one pick for the best EDC knife of 2023 is the Civivi button lock Praxis. Number one for knife design is the Civivi Bull Tusk. The Bull Tusk is a great alternative to the $300 Kunwu Padre. Unlike the Padre, the Bull tusk has more options and includes a flipper tab. I am sure the Vision is a great knife. However, it is not visually appealing. I hope WE releases an update to the Sentinel Strike that includes 14c28n or Nitro V steel.
However, the Padre is also a front flipper. It's actually the best front flipping action I've experienced, including the Mini Tempest. It doesn't get enough credit as a front flipper IMO
@@kingtajThanks for the info on the Padre. I do not like front flippers or the price. On the other hand, the Padre is a great looking knife and Vanax steel is hard to find. Enjoy it!
Great list Bro, I just picked up the vosteed Valkyrie and I'm in love with that Blade i got the black on black Wharncliffe and I'm getting ready to buy another just to have in case they stop making it or something yeah it's that good, its so fidgety i got fidgettiouse from it 😂😂 im crazy don't pay no attention to me😂😂...Happy New Year to you and your family.
Mmm, I was considering the Kershaw Iridium, but now that they sent you a loose blade, and didn’t even bother checking it before sending it to you to show 44,000 (2 mo) interested knife enthusiasts makes me question the company and their quality control.
Yeah that dog fish by kizer is wellllll under 100 dollars a whole dollar cheaper everywhere its 99.00 so where you find it so much cheaper as you claim?
I would like to know how much knives you have in your own collection..?! ^^ I know you recieve a lot of th3m and you sell a lot of them. But how much do you realy keep ..?
Pretty sick of the hoards of 3.5" liner/frame lock knives. Basically Zero innovation from anywhere. People getting excited about a new pocket clip color. Pretty lame
If the knife makers "just grab one" to send to content creators & you're the only one who gets a bad knife ... how come just you? If YTers get hand picked knives, then it's a phony representation of what they make.
In most cases not all they don't hand pick them they have them sent from one of there distributors etc.. ofcourse I'm sure sometimes they are hand picked
so the first one your gonna present probably cost well over 100? already straying from the title. i dont know about anyone else but its irritating. show us the 100 dollar one, thats my spending limit for now and thats why im here,,,,,
what are you talking about? every one of these knives either is or has versions under $100. Either way, stop being a cunt, Jerad works hard to make these videos, and this particular one is very well made with a great selection of knives.
Man your channel is my favorite channel. I love how you show a little bit of everything. Where you don’t concentrate and show unattainable knives due to price or availability. You have tons of "budget friendly” knives and premium.

I agree with your number one. I have it in green micarta and black blade. LOVE IT!
Been watching Jarod for a year now. My favorite knife guy! Always check out your new videos as soon as they drop.
I'm so glad you mentioned the Civivi Tranquil ! I think it is very underrated and one of my favorites.
I think my top 2 to gets are the sentinal strike and bulltusk to feed my need for the ziffeus and the padre.
Happy New Year to you and Kara! I had no idea you had a knife store. That is awesome!
The carnivorous has been the most underrated for a looong time , a baby strider or shaman with a Chris reeve glass breaker
Great list
Qubit and Sentinel Strike all day!! ❤
Glad to see someone else appreciate the coniferous as much as i do. It realy is an awesome knife and way under the mainstream radar
Love it bro! Keep up the good work 👍🏽
Love CPM 3V!! I’ve got 7 or 8 fixed blades and two folders in 3V. Great stuff!
You always give the minor details with things it helps alot, much respect. Proby my favorite revewer .

The Beluga by Petrified Fish! I love it. Feels expensive but only 50$ and I LOVE THE ACTION
The Vision FG is insanely good value!
I like the folding QSP Canary to ..!
Idk, I bought one and it’s not that great. Overrated if you ask me.
I carry mine all the time great for edc and work. It’s basically tied for second this year for me.
I dig the Vision FG. Gave mine away to a family friend that didn’t have a knife. I do prefer the Shark Lock, doesn’t hurt my finger like the Super Lock does.
It’s so funny that I get all pumped up when RUclipsrs in the knife community pull out knives I own and praise them 😂
Agreed...even though I probably bought the knife because I kept hearing about it from RUclipsrs!
Bangers….every single one. This was a great way to unwind the day. Happy New Year Partna…And Happy New Year to Kara. Peace
I agree the Civivi Tranquil is a great knife design. I have the one with the red handle and black blade. Buy it!
CJRB Ekko is insanely good. the thin blade and the action is just phenominal.
It’s crazy how the bull tusk looks close to the padre
Awesome list. Honestly, I thought the Dogfish would have ranked a little higher on the list. It is so good. But I definitely agree with the top 2 picks for sure.
Great line up great video
Happy New Year buddy...excited to see what you bring us in 2024...👊
Same to you, thank you
Civivi sells a titanium pocket clip for a more comfortable grip. The cost is $12-$13.
I love Kizer’s 3V, my critical Mini stays sharp forever. The coniferous V is amazing, I can’t believe it’s not more popular. Civivi needs to make a premium Sentinel Strike, Nitro V and Aluminum scales/Carbon Fiber Backspacer.

The Ekko is also really good, but the detent is a bit too strong for my old ass fingers. Getting easier as it breaks in though. Happy New Year to you and Kara! ✌️
Coniferous V looks like a mini bugout but in liner lock version.
Civivi owns the budget friendly market man, they don't miss

Kubey crushes for the price, I wanna see you check out their new Hyperion Jerad, see if you can find one for review.
I like that Kershaw iridium but that blade play is outta control. I picked up my first 2 button locks kizer original and Civivi altus and really like em. Qubit is next purchase. Take it easy.
I have the green Tityus as well...GREAT knife.
I'll probably never part with it.
Le Chevalier is my second favorite Civivi. After the large Elementum ..! ^^
Man You’ve used that Qubit even more than I have. Luckily they’re not to expensive to replace. Their slicing capabilities are addicting. Almost always in the pocket.
My fav knive of the year is the, WE KNIFE Solid 22028-3 Frame Lock Bronze Titanium CPM-20CV Steel
reverse gas station knife fighting grip. gotta respect it
Call me crazy but there should be standard angles used on lock faces and tangs. At least for liner and frame locks. If we know what has worked in the past we should be able to replicate that. Just same angles every time. No?
Amazon have cheaper prices for some reason.

I love my dilberman knife and dog
Kizer Dogfish is $99, not exactly "well under $100" lol. I got my Dogfish a few weeks ago and hasn't left the pocket since. I absolutely love it!
great video, thanks for all the great info and content!
Yes, the Brat is nice to ..! ^^
I want the Quiet Carry Drift large. And the Kunwu Compadre ..! ^^
I simply screwed the clip from the Böker Magnum blue Jay onto the Civivi Vision fg. Visually, in terms of feel and in everyday life, it fits perfectly. 😅🤷♂️👍
Bulltusk and the Sencut Phantara in premium versions, who's with me?!!!!❤❤❤❤😮😮😅
I wish this video had time stamps with the names and manufactures
Click the more button under the description and they’re all listed in order . Get ya one bro 👍
Switch out the vision fg clip to the civivi titanium and it feels a lot better in the hand
You can shim it up with the old clip after cutting it . A miguron ti clip fits perfect though .
I just got the vision fg today and I gotta say I'm kind of impressed great video and my higher end knives are gonna get put on the back burner for a minute
Yo Jared...show us how to polish a blade, or give us a link...

WE is disrupting the market with it’s Civivi and Sencut brands. The threat of new entrants is high in the knife manufacturing industry.
Happy New Year, Jerad..!!🎉

Happy new year! I hope youll check out the brand new Kubey Prism button lock soon :)
WE Eidolon is another g10 integral.
What about Boker?
I realize this man is a professional, but he moves his hands so quickly that I'm terrified he's going to slice his fingers.
Seriously tho lol I love his videos but they also give me anxiety
Let's go!
You camn buy that Sokoke from Civivi and a few other dealers like Texas knife works. I got 2 of them a few months ago.
Yeah that dog fish by kizer is wellllll under 100 dollars a whole dollar cheaper everywhere its 99.00 so where you find it so much cheaper as you claim?
Can anyone tell me which ones have 3 inch blades?
I would like to know how much knives you have in your own collection..?! ^^ I know you recieve a lot of th3m and you sell a lot of them. But how much do you realy keep ..?
Thanks bro bro 🙏
I bought a Kizer Critical mini knife and holy shit is it nice. Im afraid to use it and mess it up.
Was that the Kunwu Bull Tusk or the Civivi Padre? I couldn’t tell.
Are local to the Chicagoland area?
QSP Penguin slip-joint on the list? 🥴 Otherwise great list brother!
Nice!!!
Anyone else watch on mobile, and try and wipe off the little marks? Lol
You have 5 kizers on the list but not the kizer mad tanto. Why dont people like the mad tanto. I have one and its on me everyday
My Qubit fails every time.
Shey val yay.
Is that Bull Tusk a ripoff of the Padre? That's my fav knife of 2023 so might need to get the Civivi clone

When did he said it’s over $100 , you getting irritated for no reason.
Mini praxis was for $39.99 , regular size was $59.50. I don’t think button lock would be for more than $70
If you're referring to the QSP Penguin slip joint, the non premium versions he refers to are $62
all these videos have turned into a Chinese fest, and knife enthusiasts forking over cash to US enemy during an open conflict
