    My 98 doesn’t have that roller at 4:32... I’m going to inspect the frame in a bit to see it got hacked off or something

    • @Fixyourdirtbike
      @Fixyourdirtbike  3 года назад

      Oh, yeah, you should definitely look into that. Without that roller, you can't get an accurate chain tension.

    I'm rebuilding the 01 model and i'm struggling so much with the long screw that holds the shockarm and the chainslider. Both nuts on each side of the shockarm are stuck. I've tried penetrating oil, torch, a breaker bar and an impacto wrench. Any help would be appreciated. Ty for your tutorials!

    Hi mate I did the linkage on my 98 cr250 today but I still have a very slight amount of play but not as bad as it was. Is this normal?

      Which part still has play?

    • @motomash6143

      @@Fixyourdirtbike the bit at the bottom of the connecting arm to the linkage. Still feels like there is a little play in there. Better than it was but not ideal

    • @Fixyourdirtbike
      @Fixyourdirtbike  4 года назад +1

      Is the play side to side like it's missing a spacer, or up and down like its missing some needles in the bearing?

      There's no good way to remove the one bearing (the one with the shoulders). I eventually used wire cutters and a tiny screwdriver.
      Keep up the good work, you're videos are fast, clever, and spot on. Now, if you only did 50cc Cobra Sr. videos I'd stay glued to the channel!!!

      Are you talking about the upper heim bearing?
