Fascinating to see this side of Kyoto. The small stores and Machiya houses are so lovely. I love when you go inside a stationery store! I could spend a whole day in there! :D This was such a calm and interesting travel vlog! I am living vicariously through your videos! 🌻
Great vlog as always Milo! It certainly looked like you visited fushimi inari at the perfect time 😌 I love your watercolours of the machiya houses too, you’re very talented 😌🌻
Loved this video. I love stationery shops, I think I could buy anything from there 😅. What I really like about your videos is that they're so relaxing and so personal with the comments you add. Looking forward to the next one ☺(And I rarely comment under videos)
Thanks for commenting!! 🥺❤️ I loooooove stationery/arts/crafts shop, the vibes are so relaxing too 🥺 I'm working on the next vlog now, hope you'll be around again ☺️❤️
As an artist, I just love that you go to stationary shops, they are my version of heaven LOL Also, Fushimi Inari is one of my dream places to visit one day, so it was super interesting walking along with you, thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you for watching 🥺❤️ Japan is such a stationery/art/crafts dream!! Everything is so HIGH quality and so cheap!! A literal dream as you said! ☺️ Thanks for passing by again!
🌻 Great vlog, such a vibe! I feel like I travelled with you. Even a bonus stationary ASMR at the end. What's you feedback on the pencil that never needs to be sharpened? Will we get watercolours vlogging someday? 👀
Thank you for watching and commenting!! ❤️☺️ My feedback on the pencil: it's alriggggght. It's a heavy pencil so it's not often my pencil of choice... The lead is a bit too thick for my taste! But otherwise, it keeps its promise... Never had to sharpen it, ever! 😅
Oh Milo it's been a rough week for me being sick but your vlog just instantly gave me some sense of peace, the whole section of Fushimi Inari was breathtaking, the nature sounds, having the trail basically all by yourself and allow yourself to fully immerse in what the experience is all about. Thank you for sharing another lovely vlog. Can't wait to experience this myself in autumn.
Oh I'm so sorry you had a rough week 🥺 But I'm glad to know you have at least something wonderful in the future to be looking forward to... Japan in autumn will be so wonderful! 🍂🍁 Editing this vlog brought me a lot of peace too 😌 Thank you for passing by again ❤️
@@storiesofmilo Yes planning my trip to Japan this year is basically what's keeping me motivated to look forward in the future, it's a bit stressful but I know that once I'm in Japan it will be all worth it.
I visited Kyoto in January, so I am very interested to know what places you visited in Kyoto! 文具店TAG is nice shop and I'm glad that you got some nice treasures👍 I look forward to next Vlog
Was it difficult to climb the stairs of Fushimi Inari in summer, even in the early morning? The sunset over the mountains in the evening is also very spectacular 😎.
It was OK, because it was very early in the morning! And the vegetation around makes the place cooler! But still, it's always humid 🥵 Oooooh now I am adding "sunset at fushimi inari" on my list for my next trip!! ☺ Thank you! ❤
@stories of milo - the hotel room @kyoto … is that a real window or just a screen … ie is there a window for some ventilation ? Curious as that’s the only point lacking if it’s w/o a window 🪟
There was a window behind, yes!! ☺️ But it was giving on a boring grey wall, so I guess they installed these panels to make it look nicer... It was letting the light in! If you wanted ventilation, you could push them open and open the window behind yes ☺️
Thank you for watching ❤️ As for the watercolor pencils, it's very simple: you color a little bit and then you go with your watercolor brush to "dissolve" the pigment... it's as if you were putting a bit of color on the paper to "watercolor it"! ☺️ It's pretty neat honestly!
Very relaxing nature ambience of Fushimi Inari. So, this is where the watercolor journal I have seen in the later videos started :)
Yes, exactly!! This is when I BOUGHT the journal, even! ☺️

I was wondering about the water colour pencils, how do they work?

Hi ,I’m a Japanese person living in JAPAN . I will go to Kyoto for the first time in 38 years next month, so please let me refer to your vlog😊 thanks❤
Omg, that's so awesome!!!!! 😍😍😍 I hope you will enjoy my vlogs in Kyoto and I hope it will give you a lot of inspiration! ☺️ ❤️
Is that real cemetary inside FUSHIMI INARY ???
I never know.
it's inside yes! ☺️ not far from the main trail! there are many cemeteries actually!
@@storiesofmilo so that why my friend told me not to go there after the sun go down. Because a lot of spirit there.
I actually can totally agree with that 😂 Even in the early morning, it had a bit of a scary atmosphere... A lot of mystery in these hoods 👀

so interesting! thanks for sharing!!
いいね❤
