Hello sweet friend!😊 Oooh goodness.. the cupid stake is just the cutest thing ever!😊 When I lived in NC, the last year & a half we lived in a pretty nice sized condo. Our living room was really big, and over in the corner at the end if the console was this long narrow window & it needed something there. I bought a 4ft pre-lit tree after Christmas for like $10, put it in the corner & decorated it for every season & holiday. So it basically changed out once A month. I got pretty much all my decor at Dollar Tree. For valentines i had red lights & the strings of heart lights, And wood hearts that i decorated with the spongy stickers. I added some tiny red hearts & some small valentine cards. Wrapped a cheap white baby blanket that was like $5 from the DG and sprinkled valentine shiny confetti pieces, little red hearts & a few cards on the blanket. I probably spent about $12-15 including the blanket which i used several more times. Plus everything but the confetti could be reused. One tote could hold decor for The entire year. Just put each season/holiday in a plastic bag & mark it! When we moved to TN i got rid of pretty much all my decor but i wish i had kept that tree & decor🫤 I may do it again now that we have a more spacious home.🤷♀️ I also grabbed 2 of those big red shiny hearts the at 4:31 attached them together one under the other but leaning in opposite directions, if that makes sense, added a couple of the curly bows that go on presents &a valentine card where they connected & made the cutest door hanger/wreath for $4 plus some hot glue & Some floral wire! People don't sleep on Dollar Tree decor!😁 Another little craft that's cute is to take a frame & make a little collage with the little kids valentine cards in it. I framed a really pretty bag for my mantle. I used the same frame & switched out gift bags for pictures for each season/holiday on my mantle. Lol I love quick, easy & inexpensive DIY's😉 I think I'd do the same with the cupid, i think it'll look really cute tucked in somewhere! I used to buy the window clings for my son & the older grandkids when they were little. I'm sure I'll be getting them got my grandbabies when we move.🤷♀️ Girl the older kids attention spans are just as short. My 2 grandbabies, especially the 3yr old, would rather have things like this to do.. she like doing things with her hands, making things. I think the doilies will make a cute banner!❤ Thanks for taking us along to the Dollar Tree & sharing! I enjoyed! And as always.. God Bless!🙏🏻😊
Yeah, I don’t know why card companies don’t sell more of the vintage look valentine cards that we would give each other in grade school. I’m 61. They’re so cute and they would sell, but I’ve never see them in any of the stores.
You should try using some of the Waverly Antique Wax to age it to see if it makes it truly vintage. I would be curious to see that DIY. I don’t do any holiday decorations except Fall and Christmas, but I like seeing everyone else’s
I got two little cupid/vintage look little cutouts on stands at Hobby Lobby last year. The look like little vintage post cards, and were less than three or four dollars each. They look so similar to your cupids.
Those cupids are so adorable! I need to run to Dollar Tree. I love to add little touches of decor for Valentines Day. I need to check my bin too. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Hi Genevieve! That cupid doll face is soooo cute!!!!See if you can find any others anywhere else? Can't wait to see what you do for V.decor!!!!!Have a great weekend@😁❤😍💅💖🍓🍫🍨

Those paper doilies are pretty, however, I need to find a Cupid!
Need more actual video then add voice over. Too much talking.
You could just go look at the dollar tree yourself in silence if you’d like 😂
