oh oh...what stupid comments from some people who have absolut no knowledge/idea about salsa, especially cuban salsa. I don't know Wilmer, but seeing ALL his videos he is really a highperformer and one of the best cuban salsa dancers. In THIS video he show a special IMpression of cuban salsa, minimalizing moves with his feet and still a excellent leading of his partner shows his EXpression of Salsa. Salsa is really not running around the floor and leading the lady like an attachement, how many cuban dancers are doing. So many salsa teachers are telling stupid and wrong things about ladys following technics - maybe they also have no idea about this. This video shows it absolutly correct!!!

That's what I call dancing on a "single tile", it mean(bailar en un solo ladrillo,en Cuban slang).They are awesome dancers,I want to dance like him but first got to hang out with de Cuban guys at my school, those kids here get all the attention from the girls,the Cuban can dance everything and with stile .Everybody is a critic, come on enjoy and learn
that's Is other way to dance, that's the other level up when your counting the music beat and your move are coordinated in a way that you can do anything and come back on rhythm. Only people who want to impress do this he is just having some fun.
And yet in all my time spent in Cuba I've never seen someone standing still and prancing around with the feet like this. As I said, everything else looks good but he has to get his act together with his feet. Look at how many people here in the comments have also noticed that something weird is going on with the feet.

Those who deprecate Wilmer's way of dancing afro-cuban salsa (timba, properly speeking) in this video,really has no idea of what dancing is,even those who have been in Cuba.Really sad.All these kind of professors... Just one thing for all: have a little look to the way he manages to mark the time with all the rest of his body except his "hypercriticized" feet... and LOOK! How the hell he marks almost all the afro-percussions (also with his feet!) at 3:16, till 3:36. Please... shut up!!!

I specialize in salsa cubana "you think that you're better Maikel Fonts, Jorge Camaguey or Roly Maden.." In SALSA CUBANA -Juan Jose Ortiz and Yanek Revilla are DEFINETLY BETTER THAN ME. They are my teachers.
there is no cuban flow in this dance. he is not even dancing - just making fake motions with hands - motions that he cannot reproduce if he has to dance to a salsa music rhythm
