Another quality episode 👍 Player of the Season Keith Bertschin...good to see him do so well at Stoke, he was my first hero when he scored the only goal of the game for Birmingham against Luton, the first time I went to St.Andrews back in 1980. I noticed Keith doing some coaching in Solihull recently 👍
Cheers Steve, thanks for the positive comments as ever, glad you liked it. Two things always stick in my mind about Keith Bertschin; 1, regardless of the score in the game, he'd always celebrate a goal as if he scored the winner in the World Cup Final... and 2, my mum used to fancy him like most women did during that time! Glad he's still involved in football to some degree today.
@@boothenendtalersMy fave Blues kit ever though was the Royal Blue and White Adidas V-neck and Stripes that Keith Bertschin would of worn back in 1979-80 when we won promotion back to Division 1 at the first attempt...you got a fave Stoke shirt?
@@steverynne1970 my favourite home shirt is the late 70's / early 80's Umbro 'RICOH' sponsored shirt with the Umbro diamonds down the side, probably because it was the first one that I had as a kid. I loved the early 90's Matchwinner one we had too with black trim (the season of the St Andrews 'disagreement' between the fans. My favourite away top was the 1984-86 sky blue / navy pinstripe one which was the opposite of the home kit which our fans hated. The yellow / black 90's Matchwinner one was great too. Macron (to be fair to them) did a great recreation of our 70's white top with the red and black sash. A lovely looking kit to be fair.

I'm also currently working on 1986-87, the two Birmingham kits were beauty's this season.
