This is by far the easiest and most straight forward instruction on creating the scrolling component, vs. the other ones I have seen. I didn't even know this method existed, yet it makes total sense! Thank you!
That's just what I needed! I knew it was a simple fix and I really didn't want to sit through a long drawn out video. Straight and to the point, thank you! You earned another subscriber!
The best instruction to follow when doing animating for Figma. As a student, other video show it so fast where you can even learn from it or they just talk to fast like they expect us to get it the first try. I have to say thank you sir for making this so understanding for others to learn! Nothing but flowers to you sir!
Thank you. You taught us how to make horizontal and vertical scroll ! What's more, using component to show the whole process really helps beginners, like me, to establish good habits.
Thank you so much to solve my problem , I have seen many videos but no one gave me satisfaction , I felt so lucky when I found your video... THANKS BROTHER!!!!!!
One of the most helpful video in just under 10 mins. So much for what feels difficult to to get through with for over an hour... Thank a lot, you got one new subscribers here.
This is incredible. You're very helpful - I love the way you talk through what you're doing in each step so as to make it super easy to follow along. Thank you Femi!!
Transitioning from XD and I really wanted the padding. Struggled for a while and realized my group and frames were offset in the layers. Thanks for the help!
I still don't understand why Figma is so complex to do basic things like this, many commands and options just to scroll. While Adobe XD is automatic with one click only... let's what Adobe will do with both softwares now
Figma made an Update. Switch to the prototype tab, make your element a top level layer and you should see the Position Option, then select fixed. Kindly watch my last video if you need more clarity I posted an updated version of this video. let me know if this helps
Hello, I noticed when i did the horizontal scroll for some reason when scrolling back to the beginning the left margin misaligns (the title and the tile do not line up properly). not sure how to fix that?
No its not. Make sure its not burried deep in layer. it has to be in a top level layer. that means you should see that layer once you click on the main frame.

Hello! Thank you so much for this step-by-step tutorial! I hope you don't mind me asking: I'm currently trying to create a deck of presentation slides in figma, and I'm looking to put up a section inside that's scrollable horizontally. However, it's not moving at all unless I change my device to mobile/macbook/laptops. Is it impossible to implement the slider prototype effect in presentation slides? : (

Even my figma doesn't show that. Is it under any paid stuff?

1:01 When I'm resizing the frame is affecting the text and some icons differently, messing with my hole design. Do you know what is affecting this?
Hit K on your keyboard then resize with your mouse or trackpad. they should all scale

Yea it’s possible. The effect can be done on any frame. All that’s required is that the content has to be bigger than the frame
