- What an epic race, I got a good start on that one but then couldn’t keep my speed as I had a hard time keeping the bike in a straight line, rear was trying to pass the front:)
I couldn’t find much grip, probably due to a tire a bit tired and a very torquy engine that kept spinning that rear wheel. I tried tear offs for the first time and after 20 minutes I was out of it and had to ride without goggles. Anyway no excuse as all other pilots managed, I just need to get better on wet conditions that’s it. My goal was to stay up on that bike and not hug the mud too much. I think I’ve never seen so many riders laying down on the trail, that mud was something. Considering the epic weather conditions I’m quite happy with my result (9th place) as we were only 10 pilots in Master C completing 2 full laps. Kudos to all of us for finishing that race.
You rode a great race!! I don’t know when or how I got in front of you the 1st time… I was like mid pack on the start and you had a great start too. I was just in survival mode. Seeing you made me pick up the pace for sure.
yes, we passed each other a few times, by the end it was too messy I couldn't keep up anymore, I had no traction whatsoever, but like everybody else I guess!
Love It ..Best part of the race is the start ,than calm down (easier said than done!) get into your grove and enjoy your masochistic tendencies as I and all my single track friends do!👍😜
yea, my goal was to stay up on the bike and not hug the mud:)
Excellent finish what was your tire pressure brother?
about 10 psi rear, 9 psi front.
If it hasn't rained a lot okeechobee will be sand wont it? Good luck at Brooksville if you are there.
it's a mix of sand and dirt, when try it's quite dusty but this one was pretty wet for sure. Brooksville was great, got 2nd place.
