Thank you for sharing a bit of your life. I am a Black American and I live in New York City. I have started sharing your clips and a Ghanain woman's clips on my Facebook page so more Americans can see what it can be like to live in an African country. We (BA) are long over due for a reality check regarding the continent. I thank you and your family for sharing.
I'm an African American and sadly we don't know where we come from. Nigeria is so beautiful. I connect so much with Nigerians. I wonder if that's who I am. Great vlog. Love the homes.
you are a great role model not just for African women, but for women as a whole. I love the way you embrace womanhood yet still chase your dreams, keep it up Sissi😊
I like the one with beautiful kitchen and the other with big bathrooms, but may God lead you into a house where you can be happy and protect. Take time to rest ma you look tired, you are doing an awesome work there, keep up the great vlog and send my love to Tito and regards to your husband.
If you come to Korea one day, you will see bathrooms and showers like that. It might be the new trend in Nigeria? But I don't know why because nigeria tends toga be more space bigger houses, bathrooms like that are for smaller homes and apartments
Wow! You replied?! You are so courteous! To all!!! my genuine comments. It says a lot! Wow! You are very kind. Even if you never ever reply again. Much respect for you.Only Annabelle a Nigerian blogger is the US said a simple thanks once I am still shocked! Not to put anyone down,I think some people are very dismissive of their audience or take them for granted or simple over themselves, some of us just got into watching Utube bloggers recently.. Watching fascinating people like you and learning so much. from your experiences and uploads. And sometime it just even an old upload. You never ever even get an acknowledgment from these people! That is why I'm so amazed! Well, I'm a fan . By the way ,love your recipes. and your style of cooking👍Yum lol! Good luck with the house hunting. Many blessing.Remain Blessed🙏
Tito just giving life in this video. Loved the bath time and his laughter :) The last but one house had everything you were looking for and the minuses were not a deal breaker I think. Good luck. I've house hunted in Nigeria twice in my adult life (very stressful). You need lots of patience and prayer so you don't rush and make a mistake. Hope you find the right house, in the right environment and with the right neighbors.
I love nigeria but what drives me crazy about the way they build is the super horrible finishing! You'll see a beautiful home and the detail work is lacking. You'll see lopsided fixtures, painting errors, cement smears, geez. Or the super nice mansions where the bathroom doesn't line up with how the rest of the house looks lol. Nobody told them that the details are what will help sell? I can't imagine house hunting out there, would feel so tiring 😕
I wish some developers can send their architects and builders to US to come learn how they build houses with great details. No matter how those houses go for, with superb details, they will sell.
Tito is so cute. Nigeria roads hmmmmm. But the apartment is fine with a millionaire ok. Grandma i dey heloooooooo. Sisi yemie you are beautiful and good mum. I love your family.
Yes I agree Sisi, Nigerian architects need to do better! Those bathrooms and kitchens were pissing me OFF! Like don't they understand that some of us like to take baths and not only showers? Lol the kitchen too we need counter space! Chai the hotel's bathroom looks way better than all those houses combined.
I love watching old videos of ytbers to if them dey form and lemme tell you, Sisi has simply matured with her quality, you're the same personality! I love it!!
Wow!!!! the size of the bathroom are so small but who seriously puts the shower on top on the toilet??? Chai!! and the location, I too would be scared. The road to the house, imagine when it rains. Favourite part in this video starts at 22:00, Tito's smile makes me happy.
The shower in the middle of the bathroom is the bane of a house hunter's existence in this town. My new apartment is without a tub but at least has an installed (albeit damaged) shower cubicle. I hate that I can't have my soaks anymore. I like the house with the large kitchen, great light for vlogging.
I know I've been MIA, but I'm catching up. Those showers...I think it's the last two houses with the proper bathroom layout that I like. The last one with the bush, if it's part of your property, you can get that cleared away. It would make a nice garden. Tito's talking...aww.
ha ha ha ha but there are ups and downs you know. Over there you have easy access to good furniture and the interior is properly finished... i like that
I dont understand your point of this comment, are agreeing or disagreeing??? I am in Canada, and yes, ive been to texas and homes there are nothing compaire to homes in both Ghana and Nija.. so come again!!!!!!?
Hi Sisi Yemmie, most of the houses were nice except for the issue of the shower been over the toilet. I especially liked the last house - the fact that you have the entire compound to yourself, kitchen with a store, bathroom space is better than the others you showed us and the price is good too. I wish you all the best in you search.
The houses looks good on the outside but not inside.. From the video I did not see any drainage for any of the houses shown. Also please consider rainy season in those areas. All the best with your search
Lol your are also an energizer bunny. You just keep going like some of us do. It's a good thing.. TIP: take a day in the week That six hours is for you. Mine is every Monday morning till midday . 95% there are exceptions like dropping kids of to school or emergencies. I'm self employed so that my time to recalibrate , reflect, plan , time with God, just switch off text/ cell / tv Catch on a good sleep! Been doing it for two years .
About 3 people have called that in the past! I need to look up what an energiser bunny is lol. I would be taking time off once we find a place...thank you so much/ Its so necessary to find a balance
Sisi Yemi, God bless your home and bless grandma too. You have made me to start thinking of getting a house too. One will not stay in America forever. There is no place like home, tired of eating container food jare
Hej Sisi Yemmie, have you considered VGC? I have been there once and i think if you are talking about environment and a place where Tito can play you know. Some of these things might seem expensive but some investments are live savers. The houses are really nice but am also very particular about environment and all i saw is a no for me even if the interior is okay
none of the houses were up to standard nor were the locations. poorest being the bath area with the toilet watching u. more planning needs to go into building. simply built your own
Awww how I miss my mum 😣😭.Warm greetings to ur luvly mum Sisi The house search na wa oo.Most surrounded by bush / water. The duplex house with the big kitchen is 9ce but for the teeny tiny bathrooms and the railings by the staircase a no 4 me(child safety),also outside is bushy too scared of the creepy crawlies.I pray you get the one that ticks all the boxes 4 u else u may have to compromise on certain things. Tito is sooo cute he reminds me of my LO 😆😆!!!!Bless him.Uncle Junior nko???Its been ages.Take things ez Sisi try make out sometime 4 urself please its very important.More grace.....amen!!!
Hey Temmy, awwwww. Me I no fit do bush or river oh...so I'll keep looking. Its kind of hard to find a place that ticks all the boxes when you're renting...keeping our fingers crossed though! Uncle Junior dey ohhh! Thank you so much...after the house search Ill start resting...this has been a busy period for me
I love the video... and the house at 15:14 and 16:18, above all tito make day...thank you very much for sharing this lovely video with us God bless you and your household.
these house design thing is so real...everywhere in nail. so annoying the bathroom you were showing. Like anybody working on a house needs to go on pinterest at least once....the last one you showed i liked it, I would add like a centre counter just in the middle. LOL! tito you naughty boy don't eat the soap lol too cute...That food at the end was life...ayamase ofada stew please...looks so good!!
I'm planning on buying land and building a home in Lagos Nigeria in the summer from my research and listening to those in Nigeria that this approach is better and costs less then buying homes already built and priced high and out of the economic range of the average or working class Nigerians
Tito and my son were born the same month. Tito is only 5 days older than my son lol. My son wears size 7 and size 8 depending....Those shoes are so cute.
Tito bam bam is sooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!! the shower scene was just precious omg!!! see his pot belle looooool too cute!!! you are an awesome mommy sisi yemmie!! ur mom looks fly as heck, like a school girl ahn ahn!! slay genes slay!!!
Great vlog Sisi Yemi. Does anyone have any advice on the most affordable places to buy land in Lagos. Question for you Sisi Yemi - If money was no object what part of Lagos would you love to live in?
A) Your videos always make me hungry. B) Tito is adorable C) You're right - living near "the bush" can be trying from a rodent and reptile perspective. D) I did like some of the houses - not impressed by the washrooms though (except for the one at the hotel! That was awesome!) Lastly, I was going to ask for details like the house prices, resale market, mortgage availability and whether there are real estate agents as well, but looks like you may be looking to rent, not buy?
Nice video hun! Beautiful family! Its good to see positive videos about living/married life in Lagos n surrounding states. Blessings! I know searching for a home there is very stressful. Especially if you deal with a deceitful agent who charges ridiculous fees. Love your personality n the positive vibes. New subby n Ose!
I hope you find the house you want very soon, I know house hunting can be stressful! Btw, those types of bathrooms are very common in Japan and South Korea too.
Hi Sisi! This is my first comment on your RUclips vlogs, however I am a regular viewer. Regarding the house search, have you considered opting for a spacious bungalow as opposed to a duplex, since most duplexes are not baby proof? The last house you showed seemed to be the best option compared to the others. Love to your family! xx
Oh we've been looking at bungalows but we've not been able to get one...and I'm really sceptical as to staying on the ground floor, so we've been l;looking for "upstairs "....no luck yet
Omg....these houses Sisi, I dont understand! The exterior looks quite nice and then we see the interiour.....Lord have mercy....why! Such loud tiling, brown and cream wall tiles, orange cupboards... its awful! poor workmanship. the bathrooms have fancy faucets and then there's no shower tray.....whaaaaat! I have a sneaky suspicion there are no women involved in the interior decor of these homes. Stepping over the shower to get to the toilet.....Im finished....dead! What a pity, they could be amazing properties.
Tee Jay I look at the bathroom at one house and I felt like a nollywood mum saying: Ehh! Why the toilet over there and Showa in the middle? Ehh!! Mtchewwww !
"Dear Landlords"🛁🌞😂😂😂 🌳🌳🌲🌲🌳🤣 Wrong Location Life???🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ I'm viewing 3 years late & this video is right on time ooo. Nice kitchens & bedrooms. I dey feel you for location & bathroom. Tito is blessed with a smart, caring, safety consious mommy.
It's fine to have a wet room for when your son comes in muddy after football but the layout must be sensible. And definitely not not as your main bathroom @Sisiyemmie
Hi Sisi, great video! Which service did you use when you started house hunting? I'm in the market for a place in Lagos and the process is a tad overwhelming. There is also that business of not knowing what's trustworthy. Any tips will help.
Tito is the man!!! Like everyone else the bathtub seen was priceless and he is so cute with those two little bottom teeth...And Mama looks more like ur sister than ur mother, God has truly blessed her...What is the food called with the tripe(cow stomach) in it? I'd like to try that, it looks very appetizing...
Sisiyemmie, please not Ajah, the traffic will frustrate you. Why not Yaba? It is close to the mainland and cost effective.... Jacob Mews estate is just by Adekunle Bus stop... very good location
Hmmm...we seem to be tilting towards Ajah because I work from home so none of us will need to be in traffic at peak times except once in a while, plus it seems Ajah has more newly built properties than the mainland...I'm kinda looking for a fresh start
Never heard of these, but i can look at them...but i feel I want to move away from the mainland because it is congested in some areas and because I want something different
Oops i meant Yaba is close to the island. If congestion is the problem on the mainland, then Ajah is not the answer (in my opinion). But I wish you luck with your property search.
loved the last house you looked at and the fact that would be in your own compound . pity about the bush. those bathroom are annoying. I always say that it is like taking a bath in toilet.love your blog and vlog
I liked it too but the road to get to the house was swampy and through a busy market, it totally put me off and is probably why the house is still available. Nice house, wrong location. It was the only nice house in that area
+SisiYemmieTV Babes, I'd advise you stick to the mainland. Island houses are terrible. Bathrooms are always small and honestly stupidly built. Then the water is always brown and not readily available. Nepa gaaan i think is better on the mainland. Had a vlog I never uploaded when me and boo were house hunting before our wedding. Landlords and architects, may God grant them wisdom.
So nice to find your channel! i follow you on instagram too. God bless your family! Hello to all my Nigerian Sisters ! yes i was raised in Sokoto until my teenage years. Hello from the USA

That comment just made me sigh deeply and smile! Thank you so much Geraldine
I second that. I smile ear to ear while watching your vlogs. You're such a positive lady.
The bathroom kills me too! i don't understand that concept of no demarcation between shower and toilet!
God will bless you to build your own. That's the only solution to your complaints.
Amen! Isn't that what we all pray for? Amen
U & Ur husband is a delight to watch. I pray God bless ur family with the home of ur dreams.
I like the one with beautiful kitchen and the other with big bathrooms, but may God lead you into a house where you can be happy and protect. Take time to rest ma you look tired, you are doing an awesome work there, keep up the great vlog and send my love to Tito and regards to your husband.
Thank you Lizbeth, especially for overtime you watch and your lovely comments. I do appreciate them.

+JOE Ekeator d annoying part is that kitchen & sitting room 're in d same corner...abroad house...😀
Which abroad are you talking about? You can't compare Nigerian houses to the houses here in Texas please
Nigerians really respect their elders. See Yomi bowing to greet that woman at Church
Sisi Yemi, God bless your home and bless grandma too. You have made me to start thinking of getting a house too. One will not stay in America forever. There is no place like home, tired of eating container food jare

6 packs in progress oh! LOL Thank you so much
i love this weekly family show, nice concept, You will find a good house.
Interesting video...really enjoyed it. Houses are so huge& beautiful outside but the too many walls inside make the internal space look small.
Your mum looks soooo young!! Love the market
Sisi, I really love the house with just the duplex in it. The 2nd to the last one I think. Everything was good, not excellent, but good.
I should go look at that house again...
I subscribed immediately. I've always loved this couple since my big Nigerian wedding. I didn't know they were vlogging.
Hej Sisi Yemmie, have you considered VGC? I have been there once and i think if you are talking about environment and a place where Tito can play you know. I'm viewing 3 years late & this video is right on time ooo.
Little Tito in the bathtub...too funny & cute!
Sisi, much love from Texas....we got big, gorgeous homes too so you guys should just come on over :)
I hear texas has big homes and wide roads....lucky you!
such a cute and beautiful little baby; so sweet.
Scene, not seen...Sorry...
Sisiyemmie, please not Ajah, the traffic will frustrate you. Why not Yaba? It is close to the mainland and cost effective.... Jacob Mews estate is just by Adekunle Bus stop... very good location
Yaba is a great option. Nice estates such as PHD estate behind Marda baracks and Lavender estate. you can check them out sis yemmie
But I wish you luck with your property search.
i liked the one at 17:00 only u guys in the compound. u can throw party and have max privacy.
I liked that one too, it was also within budget the only same is the location...it will in a very remote area with a local market. I had to skip it
Aw shikes. House hunting is not easy but I always enjoy it lol. Pray for u find one that fits your needs 😊😊
This baby boy is so cute! 😊
Tito really tried to drink that bath water😭😭😭 bless him
Don't mind him jare...he likes eating soap and licking cream now
loved the last house you looked at and the fact that would be in your own compound . pity about the bush. those bathroom are annoying. I always say that it is like taking a bath in toilet.love your blog and vlog
SiSi Yemme.🙋...God bless you and your family ..🙏..The moment with tito in the bathroom was priceless 😙. ...Love from Spain
Sisi, i liked the house where u live alone in the compound, not sure about the environment tho.. but its a fine house.
