Barbatos never killed any gods. He helped raise a rebellion and the people killed the god of storms. Barbatos became the anemo archon when Andrius or Boreas backed down from becoming the archon. He may have killed many people (Khaenri'ahns), but so far it hasn't been confirmed yet whether Barbatos was present during the destruction of Khaenri'ah or not -- since the only information we have about his presence during the cataclysm was the fight between him, Dvalin and Durin. He also summoned storms to flatten the terrains of Mondstadt and sliced off tops of mountains.
That's true. But at the same time I can't exactly imagine that he wasn't forced to kill anyone during the Archon War AFTER the rebellion. Most of that event may have been in Liyue, but it WAS a worldwide event, in the end. Plus, Mondstadt is right next to Liyue, so there COULD have been instances that he had to kill to defend. But then again, we don't know that. So far, it's just a theory or a headcanon. Second, I don't know, but there's this thing about Khaenri'ah. Apparently ALL of the Seven were summoned there. Rukkhadevata only stayed behind to protect Irminsul, but I find it odd that they would note that all of the seven were summoned, but Barbatos was not present? ESPECIALLY when the threat was so large that Celestia had to summon ALL the Archons. Again, just a theory on my end, but I think maybe Venti was not asleep per se during the Durin thing, he was just in Khaenri'ah, and he had to rush back to Mondstadt when he heard their cries. Either at the end of the Khaenri'ahn battle, or in the middle. But Gods I love Venti so much. His entire EVERYTHING is just so mysterious and cryptic and has so many secrets, i can't wait until we get more crumbs on his lore, and especially about his secrets.

So, after the traveler finished his journey and well, the game's lore, the visions disappeared from the world so, just those who had them stay with. The gods disappeared or just stayed with their people and watched them evolve, and our dear venti went to sleep. So, due to vision protectors, when they had children, there was a problem in genetics, depending on the centuries that formed the quirks! The world has evolved, the lands moved and it became the earth we know, the statues and everything are now buried in the sea and the land along with everything that reminded teyvat. So there are so few things that became like a religion, Few know of the visions and the gods that roamed. Inazuma became Japan and Arab countries, liyuei became China and South Korea, mondstast became Germany and some other country on Europe ( and perhaps South America.) . Fontaine became France, England.. and the rest became what suits them. Then Venti wakes up in Inazuma/Japan due to the change in geography Because of the villain all for one. Since he was used to the changes whenever he wakes up he wasn't in shock, he went to Germany to see how his place was and confirming that it was fine he went to Japan since in a way he got awake because of there. And after getting used to it, he entered the hero school as a quick way to find out information quickly! But because of him waking up. Other gods noticed. So the living have gathered too now
