Had me crying with a huge smile on my face all over again. Well done piece on this Kings production. I personally waited since "88"( PGE- pre Gretzky era). My daughter's were so young and were worried about they're Dad crying. Scared the crap out of them every time we scored a goal. I can vividly recall where I was at here in Oregon during that whole run. Let's do it again boys!!! GKG!!!!!
Fantastic callback. I hope there's another one for 2014. Brought me back and man, what a ride. Every once in a while I'll go back to the videos made by jmsalsa on here. Gets me revved up every time.
From meeting Kopitar in Bled, Slovenia in the off-season… Attending the pre-season Hamburg game and opening game in Stockholm…to then watching them stink it up at 4am, on whatever weird Euro stream I could find, throughout the year only to ramp it up towards the end…. Flying home to catch the Finals and attending game 4 and 6 to see the Kings win the cup with my 74 year old dad who stuck it out from ‘67…. Fucking A, what an amazing year!
Each player had a role that run and executed perfectly. There will never be a sports team that had what the 2012 LA Kings had. The greatest run in hockey, the roster that would beat any ever. 🖤
Good stuff. Bitter sweet for me as game 6 of the finals would be last game I'd ever watch with my Dad as he layed in his bed under hospice care and passed away a few days later. At least he got to see the cup in LA.
I remember when Kings👑 won the Stanley cup🏆 in 2012 i went to the LA parade it was amazing great memories😔 please coach Todd bring us back to champions again🏒🙋
It's great seeing these players again.. will never forget the contribution of each one of them brought. Darryl Sutter was the most dad coach ever. Loved that guy. Lol
This will always bring tears to my eyes.. Something a boy can share with his dad.. when dad is gone we still have this memory.. taking him to all the playoffs at home that year was priceless... Thank you LA.
this for me was the happiest sports moment in history. the Dodgers 2022 comes in 2nd. I watched almost all of those 45 years of frustration and for it to all end finally was indescribable.
I'm Brazilian and I'm Kings' fan since 2015... I didn't saw any Kings' Stanley Cup Winners, even so I'm watching this video now and damn I get the emotion! Congrats for this Super-Heroes! You'll Never Be Forgotten!
That was an amazing run to the Cup that year. We went to every home game and even game one against the Coyotes...truly an awesome experience in game six when they clinched it...magical.
That New Jersey series was special to me, probably my favorite games of all time. After game one when Kopi scored on that breakaway, I felt like we had this! And we did!!
Listening to the guys talk about this series 10 years later, after having time to reflect is awesome. Nice to see some of our former Kings included, I surely miss them. That team, from the early 2010 will forever live in my memories. This team is the only team in any sport that has my emotions invested in. When they won The Cup I finally got to feel what other fans have felt when their team wins a championship. I shared that moment with my younger brothers and we all cried like children from the emotion. Thank you guys for the wonderful experience.
ill never forget this run or the 2014 run. Gave me chills reliving this. Miss that team but the boys are looking good, time to make another run here. GKG!
Fighting back the tears of joy watching this i swear! Seems like yesterday. Been a fan since '80, now nearly 50. Watching Gretzky and the Oilers pound em every year. Once Brown, Kopitar, Quick and Doughty arrived you just knew something special was gonna happen... thanks guy's!
Fan since 1977 (7 yrs old). Although I might not have chose to wait soo long, I was lucky enough to have watched them win with my kids who were jn the middle of their playing days. The only time I've ever gad salty eyes during a professional game.
Is there a button that allows me to like this 45 times? I was at a business trip in Fresno watching the Kings lock this up while I was in the hotel bar. Yeah, I shed a few tears too.
Was at Game 4 of the St. Louis series...LOUDEST I've ever heard that arena!! Went to Japan on vacation for 3 and a half weeks, following the Cup run via English newspapers & TV, got back in time for the celebration of Game 6 v NJ in LA Live & went to the parade!! GREAT memories...GKG!!
The memories I have from watching the 2012 cup run. Being one of the crazy fans to go to LAX to wait for the team after taking down Vancouver and Phoenix was so much fun. I have so many pictures from those nights. #GoKingsGo
It's crazy to think this run happened over a decade ago. I can remember it like it was yesterday. Brown's hit on Henrik Sedin, Jarret Stoll's OT winner vs Canucks, Penner's OT winner vs Coyotes, Kopi and Carter's game winners in Jersey, the Game 6 beatdown after Scuderi got hit. Wow. All of these memories are coming back to me. This run was amazing and I will always cherish it. GO KINGS GO
Thank you for making this very special video. Watching this just made me remember “my” moments watching the games… me hiding in my closet 😅 or walking around my block during commercials when the games were scary tight!! I miss those moments… 💕🏒🥅
Justin Williams saying nobody thought they could beat the Canucks but I remember a lot of stats nerds having them as Cup favorites because of their absurdly dominant defensive numbers. That team barely allowed shots and scoring chances. It was an elite team that struggled to score. Once they found ways to score, they were unstoppable.
the forwards were all fantastic on that run, but for me, that grizzled D was outstanding and a HUGE part of that run. Greene, Scuderi, Mitchell, Doughty, etc...just steady.
I was lucky enough to go to some of the home playoff games. I cried like a baby when we won the Cup. Was also lucky enough to get a picture with the Cup.
I waited 40 years for this. I was certain I was going to die without seeing the Kings win the Cup. I cried when they won it. EVERY SINGLE TIME i see the final seconds of G6 I tear up because of how long I waited - and all Kings' fans. The Kings can never win another Cup in my lifetime and I will be OK with it since I have 2 to celebrate.
I get this is clearly about Brown, but having watched the ceremony live it seems odd how blatantly these videos seem to trim and cut right before Jonathan Quick would be seen. Just seems odd like management doesn’t want to remind us.
A huge part of this team you didnt emphasize enough is Mike Richards. I get it how he left the team. It isn't positive, but that doesn't diminish what he meant to that team. Him and Jeff Carter should have played a bigger part in this.
So many chills during this video. This will forever be my favorite Kings team.

This team made my Sophomore year in high school. Just rushing home to see the boys score big goal after big goal really got me going in the summer.

Terrific stuff, great to see Brownie finally open up about his career
It's so burned into my memory hard to believe it's been 10 years.

Great to see Mike Richards. Wish we could have heard from him.
I remember that season very well. It was truly magical

wow... already 10 years.... i still remember it like it was yesterday.
The chemistry between the whole team was unmatched. Such a great era!

Oh man I teared up watching this. Let's repeat it again this year. KINGS 2022-2023 Champs!
I have been waiting for this video for a long time 👑😭🖤
Fan since 1977 (7 yrs old). Although I might not have chose to wait soo long, I was lucky enough to have watched them win with my kids who were jn the middle of their playing days. The only time I've ever gad salty eyes during a professional game.
Seeing Doughty, Kopi, Quickie and Brownie sitting next to each other puts a smile on my face, GKG!!

Another fantastic production, video team. Brought back so many great memories. Cheers to the 2012 squad! Can't wait for Brownie's day on Saturday!

Absolutely love videos like this! Wish they would do it more often..
Great video! To see all the boys talk about it all is awesome. GKG!

Forever legends 🐐

I'll never forget the hours leading up to game 6 vs. the Devils, I was so nervous at work, my palms were sweaty and I couldn't sit still!
Thank you for making this very special video. Watching this just made me remember “my” moments watching the games… me hiding in my closet 😅 or walking around my block during commercials when the games were scary tight!! I miss those moments… 💕🏒🥅
I really enjoyed that Brown was the one talking the most as in that he does represent the exact identity of that squadron. GKG !!
I was there for Game 3 vs the Devils. I had been a Kings fan for 20 years at that point and winning was a bucket list item crossed off GKG
I’ll never forget that feeling in Staples where the entire crowd was abuzz from knowing the cup was finally ours. Once in a lifetime.
This is the best team ever. #GoKingsGo
the forwards were all fantastic on that run, but for me, that grizzled D was outstanding and a HUGE part of that run. Greene, Scuderi, Mitchell, Doughty, etc...just steady.
I was 4 at the time of our first cup. Still remember it to this day though
Glory Forever
Great job guys! What a beautiful video
F*** Yeah.
This team really surprised me, 2012 will be known as the year royalty reigned in the NHL. A good year to be a Kings fan!
I feel old, I was 12 when they first won it all :')
Watched every game of that run and called my brother from half way across the country and we were both screaming in the final minute.
I was lucky enough to go to some of the home playoff games. I cried like a baby when we won the Cup. Was also lucky enough to get a picture with the Cup.
There’s something in my eye…..
GKG
Fkin beast of a team
That was the best year ever
I'm your number one fan
waited since 1978!!!
GO KINGS GO
I waited 40 years for this.
One of the most frustrating regular seasons I’ve ever watched…all paid off in the end. What a squad 🖤🤍
I get this is clearly about Brown, but having watched the ceremony live it seems odd how blatantly these videos seem to trim and cut right before Jonathan Quick would be seen. Just seems odd like management doesn’t want to remind us.

Also Simon Gagné!!! He was on this team!!! My favorite player of all time!!! People forget but I never will!! #12 forever!!!
La kings please win 7 in a row for me and Dustin brown today
now its the 10th anniversary of the 2014 cup 😁
This is a Mythical team.
Playoff wins before playing the actual playoff series against the Canucks.
Refs helping the Kings every step of the way and hoping on the bandwagon like their fake fans
My 1st game leafs 6 kings 4 the MOST EXCITING MOMENT MY ENTIRE KIDS LIFE (BY FAR) 1971 10 years old.
