I think offering an extra battery as an accessory would reduce range anxiety somewhat. With your 36 holes being based on a course yardage of just under 6000 yards, this will fall well short of 36 holes on the average course in the United States being 6600 yards and many are longer. I for example play 36 to 45 holes every single saturday and sunday, so I would need at least one extra battery.

My local course is about 7000m tee to green, but my walk is usually around 12kms tracked on my Apple Watch. This states 10 + 8 on pavement with no clubs… that says to me that a standard round of golf will either be unachievable, or right on the limit… noting that taking batteries to their limit is surefire way to kill the cells prematurely… these numbers are scarier than they are impressive.

Hi, friend, We invited golf enthusiasts to test our Robera Pro on an 18-hole golf course in Shenzhen. The course has a total length of 5,968 yards with a par of 72, and a round takes approximately 4 hours. During the test, a Xiaomi phone recorded a distance of 12.04 km, and the battery consumption was 55%.

I am somewhat confused as to what this video is trying to show. According to the stats at the beginning of the video this demo took place over 3 hours and 28 minutes with a battery loss of 60%. Is this correct? If so, what is the issue with the cart at the end of the 3:28 time lapse in the video? Is the cart battery dead at this point at 2:52 in the video? Or is there something else going on with it preventing it from going further? Was the battery only charged to 60% for this video?

You guys should have some real golfers Beta test it. I'm a backer as well but really would like to see some 3rd party Beta tests soon.

Yes, we will proceed with this plan. We’ve invited some local golfers to test the product and tehey provide valuable feedback. Once mass production begins and we receive the final samples, we will send kols for review

With the weight of golf clubs, accessories, and lots of up and down on grass/dirt, the battery really concern me. Yes I’m also a backer.

During the test, we added 10 kg of water to our golf bag to simulate the weight of golf clubs, last wek, we also invited golf enthusiasts to test our Robera Pro on an 18-hole golf course in Shenzhen. @@Roberapro quick question. You mentioned the Robera Pro in the comment above. At Kickstarter it is about the Robera, without the pro. Are there different models already ?

@@Roberapro 5,968 yards would be considered a rather short course in the United States. I would really like to see the Robera Pro tested by a youtube creator with a golf specific channel, @MrShortGame has done a few reviews of other electric cart caddies and he is fair.

don't golfers walk around 9+ km per round? it basically covers 1 round it seems, and there are no clubs in the bag, which i imagine would be cutting the battery life down even shorter....I"m a backer and this concerns me a bit.

@@Roberapro That's cool but in the United States the average par 72 hole course is around 6,600 so I think you are underestimating the distance needed for 18 holes.
