You were the only one who made the magic loop make sense. I've never been able to do it until now. Before I did the ch 4 and slip stitch. This whole tutorial was wonderful. Thank you!
I've been crocheting since I was a child, and I've always sworn by patterns. Thank you for making this so clear! I will be making these to give to charity.❤
Thank you so much! I've never had a crochet hook in my hands before in my life and it took me just over 3 hours to complete this, but I am so pleased with the result. For a first timer crocheter, it looks really great. I made it for my doll using Aran wool (it was all I had in the house) and it fits perfectly. This is such a great tutorial; so clear and easy to follow. Also, your voice is so soft and lovely. Thanks again, I'm def gonna make more otherwise my other dolls will be jealous, haha.
I have been stumped on how to make a magic loop on other tutorials, have failed time and again. You just made it so simple to follow. You are SUCH a gifted teacher. THANK YOU
Thank you soo much! I'm still making mine, but I'm making these in off-white and beige for my twin brother and sister that are on the way. Can't wait to surprise my bonus mom with these!
I made this on my flight to Hawaii to meet my first nephew and it fit him so perfect! I did a mustard yellow to match his winnie the pooh outfit and plushie I got him and everyone loved it. Thanks for sharing!!! 🧸❤️
This was the easiest to understand and follow out of all the tutorials I’ve watched so far. Bonus points for your voice being relaxing. I feel confident in making my new cousin a hat, thank you!
Im so happy i found this channel! I cant Read a pattern to save my life, and you are so easy to follow! I finished a project for the first time ever, Thankyou so much ♥✌

It's December 28, 2021, so well over a year that you first posted this tutorial, but it was recommended to me, and I can see why! I will be making a bunch of these for sanctity of Life day on January 22, 2022 and donating them to my local pregnancy resource center. I love it, and you are a wonderful teacher. Thank you!!!
Thank you. Lovely pattern i am making some hats to donate this is a perfect hat. You have a very soft and soothing voice. Also I love that you write out each row as a pattern!!!❤
This is my first time crocheting, after learning the basic stitches your video easily guides any beginner to start up with this project...keep teaching you are a very good teacher... Happy to learn from you
Thank You for explaining so properly as well as not elongating the video. Thank You a lot, you are exactly teaching to the point, there's no second Being wasted here, in your video!! I am going to follow only this video to crochet a cap/beanie for my prospective newbie.
Would I do an extra round in the beginning if I’m using baby weight yarn and a smaller hook? I’m worried my hat might be too small. If I do an extra round of increases would that affect the outcome?
@@jlhyndman I think adding an extra round would make it longer, so that would probably help. But you would also probably want to make it wider. I'm not super experienced in crochet, but I would maybe just add a few more dc stiches when you're starting the magic circle? Don't quote me on that. I would just experiment with it. Nie also make a video for 0-3 months so maybe you could follow that instead since you have a thinner yarn ruclips.net/video/26VjHqypwAU/видео.html

- Round 2: chain 2, 2 dc in every sts. Slip sts (24 sts)
- Round 3: chain 2, *2 dc, 2 dc in next sts *, repeat * to * 8x. Slip sts (32 sts)
- Round 4: chain 2, * 3 dc, 2 dc in next sts *, repeat *to* 8x. Slip sts (40 sts)
- Round 5-7: chain 2, 40 dc. Slip sts
