and we are out here! i figured with sora just joining smash, there's no way i could not include him in a level 9 CPU tournament. not only that but i upped the stakes- nintendo vs playstation! we have so many playstation reps, and tho they not all solely playstation i figured there were enough to make a nice 8v8 you know?
hopefully my commentator skills weren't too rusty in this lol. it was very fun to battle with mario and sora as a first match! the next matches were just as iconic with link and cloud, kirby and joker (from persona 5), etc.
bowser and sephiroth as the two villains was dope! big seph was unfortunately knocked out by one of the only videogame villains bigger than him lol
then snake with his cheater final smash on the other side of he CPU bracket... smh.
in the end playstation won- by a lot! first, second, and tying for third! bowser was the nintendo rep who made it farthest at third- it's lonely at the top!!

As a sonic main, I can handle his final smash no problem

this competition is totally fair considering that all level 9 cpu's are the exact same skill level (cough kazuya cough)
the stronger the character is, the less kill power the final smash has (except a few instances)
Except for snake, pikachu bowser dk incineroar and y'know most og the strong characters...

That would be drastically unbalanced considering ALL DLC are designed to have a special gimmick to take stocks easily, so people will buy the DLC

I like how Smash has better Playstation representation then the the Playstation Smash clone.
I don't know if I'd go that far. Jak, Ratchet, Spike, Sir Dan, Nathan Drake, Cole, Raiden, a lot of really solid choices. They even got Kat, who's a pretty obscure one. There are some odd choices like Big Daddy or Fat Princess, but overall a pretty good lineup, only really missing Crash and Spyro.

Great video and I always love your commentary, however; tournament structure is disadvantageous to both teams. You should redo it as 3v3 or 5v5 matches where they go until all either all Nintendo or all PlayStation reps chosen are eliminated with an equal number of fighters total for each team.
I held my own “Everyone is Here” Level 9 Tournament. Had to split it into 3 tourneys, then made the champions fight.
I had a Bowser vs. Sephiroth matchup too, and Bowser cleaned up nicely.
In the end, King Dedede triumphed over Banjo & Kazooie and Samus.
The hyper focus really workin man. SO HYPE FOR 100K!!!

okay haven't watched the finals yet. i am a hardcore metal gear fan, although i recognize snake isn't the most fun character to watch or play against in smash lmao - also, recently i've been getting super into kingdom hearts, simply out of how ridiculous the lore is and how actually straight up fun the KH games are. i love both franchises for the same reason: weird ass lore, super fun gameplay. i am so hyped for this final. EDIT: very nice win. super happy about it. this video was amazing!
