They just gotta bring back some sort of east comp. Even if they just brought back ranked and skin cups to east. We just need something to play that is not on 60 ping.

I’m absolutely over the moon about South African servers, buts what the point if there isn’t any tournaments :/ OCE has tournaments and South Africa has double the population of Australia and New Zealand combined. Even if we have the lowest prizepool, that’s fine, we just want tourneys
country population doesnt matter, its the player population that matters.

for the sommerset ban they should just change it so that if you have been playing with a cheater you get a warning and for that tournament cant claim prizes and if it happens again then that should result in a ban?

I live in Mexico , and run 80 on west 90 on east and 65 on central it’s genuinely terrible so im glad they’re adding a server so I can acc play good ping

two completely different reasons for why they got banned
@corrupted_ban7919 they doubled down on the 28 days rule so that no favoritism gets made, yet. The first time a pro gets banned for playing with a cheater after they applied the rule they immediately unban her.

i really wish they would make different servers for west like NA-West California and stuff like that because if they are already existing servers it should cost a ton or any money to split them so you can connect to the server you get the best ping on

Hopefully, the new servers will be added at the start of season 2, and I estimate that the prize pools for SA if it became a region would be similar if not slightly lower than OCE

i think asia sever was in singapore before ME region was a thing in like 2018/19 but now asia in japan and ME is a thing
all we need is 1 west Canadian server, if you live any where east of BC where is literally on the coast you are 60 ping or more in game, this hasn’t changed in years

Why no servers in middle Asia? I like in Kazakhstan, 80 eu, 150 me and 130 Asia. It does not make any sense to add the server in Mexico

Being an NAE Canadian player for years i have been lost for words as to why epic has not added a #1Toronto (For and NAE based addition) improving ontarion quebec and parts of michigan. #2Winnepeg (for northern central areas) improving ping for manitoba north western ontario and north dakota. #3Edmonton server (for north western areas) improving ping for saskatchewan and Bc as well as northern montana. Canada is in one of the worst positions if youre a competitive fortnite players because we do not have the luxury of moving to another province to play 0 pingas we have to apply for citizenship to us or eu etc., The best ping you can get in canada with 3gigs per second for internet in tournaments is 25-40. which is extremely frustrating when you play creative and get 3-15. This has been the most frustrating thing as a player because anyone who knows anything about epicgames would know they use amazons servers for hosting their game as amazon is not only the largest but also most reliable at the time of making this comment. so its not like epic has to build an entire building and set a server up costing millions. they literally just have to have the devs configure it and pay the costs as they do for the other ones. So i get extremely mad that Epic Games talks about this fair and inclusive approach to making the game fun for everyone meanwhile there is so much untapped potential in the world of fortnite that has either quit or will quit comp simply because epic doesnt care. and For those who are gonna say 30 ping isnt that bad, Your right it isnt for pub players. but consider that everyone you back out of a 1v1 player who just effortlessly takes your wall. shoots first. and quite literally sees long before you do him... the way the way game feels on 3 ping (which i only get rarely in some creative maps) compared to 20 is unreal. consistency and overall preformance skyrocket.
Yeah it sucks. I live in Calgary and get 90ish on central. Literally never play tourneys anymore it’s not fun at all. Near impossible to perform.
And even on naw I’m getting 30-40 anyway. Especially when naw servers were SoCal aswell. Just a terrible gaming experience when ping is so important.
Calgary has also just got a new AWS server so that could be implemented, but I doubt it as there is already an Oregon server and two cali servers. Literally anyone that doesn’t live near the coasts or Deep South has awful ping
Asking for 3 servers for one country is greedy work, Canada should just get one server near Toronto

Im from south africa and we play on ME servers 100 to 130 ping....the discustion about sa servers comes a long way since 2019 when covid started the equador undersea lines were already placed and they put it on hold cause of covid and i think they just discarded it entirely after that...we have a big player base...and we have good players on ME 120 to 130 ping and i have a 100 dollar earnings its not much but on this ping it says something

Most likely not Im assuming you live in Perth or close to Perth and get 45ms you'll get around 60ms to the Jakarta server if it gets added. I live in South Africa and get 90 to middle East im so happy there is progress on servers for the whole of Africa.

Fortnite should give up solo tourneys. It forces cheaters to play with people who are either cheating themselves and will both get banned or not get to play at all because nobody wants to get banned by playing with a cheater, plus more entertaining
