    This looks fantastic! With the black wheels, black spoiler, and black front fascia, Hyundai should have given black emblems

    I'm not really into plasti-dipping car parts and that kind of thing. But man, on your car, with your colors, it looks SO perfect 👌
    It definitely should have come that way.
    And Hyundai listened. The updated '24 EN looks to have the black badging, so more cudos to them!
    I have a '23 in black and actually like the chrome. I may be the only one, lol. But I think it looks kinda fancy with the black.
    Anyway, I appreciate your videos! Thank you so much!

      Thanks! I definitely prefer painted parts to plastidip, but these cams out pretty good. Unless you touch it with your fingers you’d be hard pressed to tell they’re not painted. I get the chrome on black thing. All black isn’t really my thing.

      Hyperdip does a red and I think red badges on the black would be sick

    Take a small piece of masking tape and put it in the center of the areas of the emblem that you will want to remove PlastiDip.
    This will give you place to use a tooth pick to get under the PlastiDip and start peeling.

      Just a question. While painting? How did you make sure there is no paint on inside of the circle but around the H sign???

  • @t.k.morris

    Excellent job indeed! Is there any way to remove the emblem/badges, paint them, and reinstall them? Instead of spray painting them on the car?

    • @n-power-automotive
      @n-power-automotive Год назад +3

      Thank you! Yes, you can remove them and paint them. That’s option number two of the HyperDip doesn’t hold up.

  • @C_Santiago7

    Hey man! How's the hyperdip holding up about a year later? I'm planning to do my factory rims piano black (not a big fan of the new chrome-ish and black wheels a lot of cars are doing nowadays) until I downsize to 18's when the stock tires wear out. Which will probably take me another 2 years lol. While also hyperdipping the H badges and Elantra badge on the back. I have a '22 EN and think black on black almost everything would look dope.

    • @n-power-automotive
      @n-power-automotive 3 месяца назад

      It was holding up great, but I replaced my badges with the flat badges from the 2024, so they’re no longer on my car.

    • @C_Santiago7

      @@n-power-automotive Gotcha. Also, does the piano black look any more glossy in person and in the sun than it does on video? I never realized you responded. Sorry about that. Thanks for the reply!

      @@C_Santiago7 no worries. No. It’s pretty much a satin black at most. I didn’t lay it on thick enough I guess to get the shiny finish, but I still liked it.

    • @C_Santiago7

      @n-power-automotive I was more worried about the wheels. One of the other videos I seen, it did seem decently glossy on the wheels. I'm just gonna hope for the best lol. Thanks again!

    I have a black '21 Elantra so it cries for the black logos - I wonder why they just did not do the dark colours in black. I just worry about it surviving the power sprayer places, foamy brush say, and also the brushless (intensive power sprayers again) brushless car washes.

    • @n-power-automotive
      @n-power-automotive Год назад

      You definitely wouldn’t want to use a power sprayer on them. Regular car washes are fine.

    Ever consider just removing the H badges all together to get that clean look? They wouldn't of bothered me if they were just smaller.

    • @n-power-automotive
      @n-power-automotive Год назад +1

      I haven’t considered that because it would require a body shop to fill in the holes from the emblems. It would look very clean though.
