    The whole "carrots make you see in the dark" thing was a ruse by the allies to prevent knowledge of radar from leaking out. Pilots just had such good eyesight from eating carrots, allegedly, that they spotted the enemy just that much more easily. The myth, however, stuck.

    It "WAS NOT COMMON KNOWLEDGE" that carrots were good for eye health prior to World War II. That was Government Propaganda to encourage the public to eat more carrots and to find other ways to use them in recipes to help ease food shortages as most fresh vegetables in most cases were not rationed.

      🤔 Yes, but that was a long time ago, when people still believed and trusted what their government politicians told them. If they tried this today, people would do the excat opposite ! ⚠..

    Carrots can be used exactly the same way as sweet potatoes for making pies and cookies and cakes add carrot pie is actually very tasty I like it better than sweet potato or pumpkin pie
