We just seen these guys for the first time live, not a foot in the house was still, not a jaw that wasn't slack! These guys are FANTASTIC! This concert was the most fun of any in my entire life, and I have seen a lot of talent. This is a no brainer good time to be had by all. You definitely get your moneys worth and still feel like you just robbed a bank! Los Straightjackets are more than just the music, it's an all encompassing show! and now that they have Deke Dickerson, The plan is complete! If they come to your town and you miss them, I pity you. Really? when is the last time you couldn't hold your feet still at a concert? No one dies at their shows because you're on a constant defibrillator ride! and yes, you'll probably have postpartum depression when they are gone! It's like you need their next fix!
Victor Radzawich yes man haha thank you, i fucking love the ways they can just compel the audience to have the time of their lives. ive only been to one or two of their shows, but my uncle is Ed the one in black mask on lead. these guys are like mysterious masked gods of what rock n' roll was always meant to be, viva los straitjackets (y)
Saw these guys many years ago at The Maintenance Shop in Ames Iowa. I think there may have been 8 people in the audience and I brought 3 with me. They played as if there were a thousand of us. They certainly love what they do and do it well.
These guys are awesome! I would like to appreciate them and go see them live while they're still around, I know they're kinda up there in their age... So I would like to see them soon. "MONDO ZOMBIE BOOGALOO" is an awesome album as well as !"VIVA!"
I also recommend their debut The Utterly Fantastic And Totally Unbelievable Sound Of Los Straitjackets, Supersonic Guitars in 3-D, The Velvet Touch of Los Straitjackets, and their live album Damas y Caballeros.
This is what Scottie Hill listens to now?!?! No wonder Skid Row is so bad with it's last few albums! This is easy surfer type 50's music. WTF I would rather play RAP which is not even really music but at least it is not this. For people who like this sort of thing yeah it is as good as any other band of this genra but Rock it is not! As far as amazing I need to see something that would be hard that I or people I know could not do or do easily. This is all something a first year guitar student that practices could do.
Yes may be it´s not to hard to play, but at the end of the line is not the virtuosism I think, is the great tune that is it. A lot of true guitar heros has been influenced by players that are not "guitar virtuosos" like Johnny Ramone. So my point is enjoy the music if its good. Just my opinion. Peace.
A: Music is art, it's not an athletic event. You don't get credit for degree of difficulty, and 2: You think it's easy to play this? I'll tell you what, post a video of yourself playing this kind of music and we'll see how easy it is. Long live Los Straitjackets! Skid Row? Who or what the hell is Skid Row?
Congratulations evilstalkerhorne probably the dumbest most close minded music related comment on the internet...and this is coming from a Skid Row fan.
I wish more people would understand how extremely talented and significant this band is...
Nick Lowe sure understands.
Incredible musicians...their retro-surf sounds is fantastic. Would love to see them live.

These guys are a party band / cover band with ALOT of great recordings. Very fun live. I like surfer music. I've always hated Skid Row.

If you think music all about difficulty then you are probably not a musician. At all.
