Psychedelic Las Vegas!

Boasting the largest LED screen in the world, The Fremont Street Experience is a far out trip! During my recent stay I was blown away by how surreal it was!
This famous street was the centre of old Vegas. It’s referred to as downtown. Fremont Street was the centre of all the big old casinos. These are now dwarfed by the huge mega hotel and casinos on the Strip. In order to attract people back to Downtown, this huge screen has been constructed and forms the ceiling for the main part of Fremont Street. There are two stages which have live music, mostly cover bands but with exceptional guitarists!
The soundtrack is live performances from my band Asteroid Deluxe. I felt that the swirling nature of our music was a good fit for the crazy effects here.

I'm imagining the scene in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas when Hunter Thompson did mescaline and ether and went to a casino but couldn't function. Except with Gaz instead of Hunter..
