You can make your own fertilizer by fermenting the weeds that you pull. Mix it in water, cover it then add more water to the fermented water and use that on the soils around your plants.
Very interesting video. I like how you used recycled materials to construct your garden beds. Use garlic and cayenne pepper spray to combat insect and worm infestation problems.
Watching from South Africa 🇿🇦 Also started a tiny garden in my yard during lockdown and have kept it going since. This year is my fourth year. I love volunteer plants!! Also started planting our indigenous plants, veggies and medicinal.
New Subbie, I watched your Video twice. I am so encouraged. Faith is a Risk. I am taking that Risk, just like you I am struggling with Soil plus water but I am trusting the Lord with my container Gardens, I started Last month and my seedlings are doing well and even transplanted some of them. Thanks for this Video. Much Love from South Africa ❤❤.
Thank you for this video, Emily! Everything you said I have been thinking about. I am too now growing my own food. Learning and experimenting. I have a tiny budget, so upcycle what I can and people donate things to me from their community allotments. I've built a foil tent out of a disused trampoline frame. I am so excited for this season! Wishing you a beautiful day! We all must live with the land, not just on it. ❤

Thankyou Emily for sharing with us your good work. Keep it up. Boil garlic, lemon grass, mint and local chilli, cool and spray on the vegetables to get rid off the pests. It's very effective
