+INTEGRATIONTV I support the brotherhood of Somali people wherever they are, and I want for my Somali brothers and sisters everything good that I would want for myself. And to be brothers doesn't mean we have to be in the same country. We could be brothers and have different political views at the same time. Brotherhood comes when we respect each other and appreciate our differences and let everybody be who they want to be. Somaliland has its own distinctive history that makes it different from Somalia, and I will highly suggest you look into it. You said you promote unity and positivity; however, it seems the opposite to me. When I see people ignoring my efforts and not letting me be myself, I just feel hopeless and denigrated. We sacrificed everything we had to make Somaliland the kind of country it's today, and still you choose to ignore our fruitful efforts? And I wonder how you stand for unity and positivity when you upset a whole community. Somali people are and will always be walaalo wherever they might be, and that only happens when we respect our differences, learn from each, celebrate our successes and help those in need among us.

i use to hear this story when i was little the man who died becouse he loved hodan so much. i was so scared to be in love becouse i didnt want to die becouse of love, so i use to read quran for my selv when i was little to not get in love. i use to like a boy when i was little and everytime he was around me my heart was pounding and i thought i was going to die.

Wallahi is very sad our brightest light has been taken away from us, she visited us in Tanzania and interviewed another young entrepreneur called Mahad who also lost his life in the attack in Kismayo.
I have never seen Somalia in my life, I was born in Kenya raised in UK and know I live in Tanzania one of the most peaceful country in Africa... oooh how I wish my motherland was peaceful as the country I reside.
I have lost all hope for my beloved country, Only Somali people can defeat alshabab but they get support from some of us and some foreign entities, that’s why they continue to survive.
Somali are fighting for breadcrumbs while the slices are been divided by foreigners.
The only hope I have is prophet Isa coming back that’s if I’m ever alive.

Well I understand your grief and pain as I aslo share it. Hodan was doing the opposite of what your concluded. Losing hope which by the way if you are Muslim Allah says multiple times to never lose hope is sad thing. If you really loved Hodan Nalayeh then the best way to honor her legacy is to amplify your love for Somalia. While the way she died was horrific, her death was something Allah had already decreed. No nation or people have seen change by losing hope! As our beloved sister said if we Somalis from Somalia don't contribute to our beautiful country then who will. I know that you are Somali Kenyan so maybe that's way it's easier for to lose hope in my country but trust me My sister Hodan has inspired many young Somalis from Somalia to not only return to our country but to contribute. Hodan left us a legacy of just 5-6years that's how long she was doing Integration tv. She knew the risk she was taking. The woman she admired Saado Ali Warsame died 5 years ago and that didn't stop Hodan from showcasing Somalia because losing hope while you are alive is the worst thing. ❤

I think you miss understood my point completely and you by mentioning Kenyan Somali was just below the belt brother, been so called Somali Kenyan does that makes me less of a Somalian than you? I’m proud Somali and will always be a Somali no matter where I was born or raised.
