I live in northern Virginia, and in a fairly remote part of central Virginia some guy created a replica of Stone Henge from huge foam blocks and named it Foam Henge. When our youngest, crazy daughter was finishing high school she insisted we take her there so we could film and photgraph her running through Foam Henge with her super long hair flowing behind her. It was a crazy, fun day, for sure!
@hawklord100 , Prime? and now we are forced to watch their commercials,,,, first thing I did was to sign on to pay NOT to have commercials. The internet is going down that road it was supposed to replace.
This was a really great movie. It’s actually the first movie I’ve seen Misha act in other than supernatural. Which he did a fantastic job in that TV series. All in all, I would recommend this as a watch.
The imagination and fantasy are actually very real ,they are the truth but is been shown to you as something unreal becayse you cannot handle the truth. The stonehenge is an 11 dimensional gateway actually and is not fiction nor fantasy.
I visited the Henge in 1973 before it was fenced off . what a lot of people don't know is that it was extensively restored in the late 1800s and early 1900s when a lot of the fallen stones where re-erected and set in concrete with approx 4 inches of soil and turf laid over the concrete .There are old black and white photographs of the work in progress . In a hot dry summer you can see where the thin layer of grass is laid over the concrete .
Brilliant film 🙂very different and unusual 🙂 will definitely be watching this one again 🙂as it's like no other film 🙂 be opened minded 🙂 and watch it for yourself 🙂 I give this film 11 out of 10 🙂🙂🙂 please bring more of these great films for us all to watch 🙂
Wow! Great sci-fi action thriller movie. It's been coming up in RUclips recommendations for the last 3 days when I do a search for sci-fi movies. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long.
Just once, I'd like to see a film where the heroes take the risky, unconventional path to save the Earth, only to return to find the obvious STOP button really did stop the catastrophe. 😁
We visited Stonehenge many times during the 1970s before the stones were fenced off, i was one of those "Dam Hippies", went to all the free festivals and witnessed the sunrise during the equinox. We were allowed to visit and touch the stones, truely an enigmatic place, its funny but it has its own atmosphere. Over the years i have visited a lot of stone circles, there are over 970 in the British Isles. I can assure you the real stonehenge was nowhere in this movie, only cgi henge.
Like you, I was able to visit Stonehenge before it was fenced off. I'm not a CT fan or a believer in out-there woo-woo stuff, but the place does indeed have real power. I could feel it; creepy and awe-inspiring at the same time.
I was there in the 1980s and walked around alone and even walked out into the distance field to get away from the crush of tourists. There were no fences. It wasn't until I was in the field and looked back at stonehenge that I felt a sense of energy or presence. I was not expecting this and did feel a little spooked. That feeling disappeared once I was in the crush of tourists in Stonehenge again.
Excellent movie, great plot idea, using Stonehenge. I visited the site and no one is allowed to get near the stones any more. You are allowed to go a visitor centre where you are taken on a tour around edge of the site. I think, they do have something to hide.
You can't walk around in it anymore because it's eroding away. You still could in the 80s, but it's quite right that it should be properly protected now. There's plenty other stone circles in the UK that you can get up close to and touch (i avoid touching the stones though as every contact causes erosion damage), try nearby Avebury, even more spectacular than Stonehenge.
There are good reasons to protecting the ancient site. One is the defacing of the ruins by vandals spray painting everything they can access. It's criminal mentality. Their misplaced pride is in destruction. When I saw the vandalism of a historic building, in London, by people spraying the stone walls and windows with red paint, I was shocked and dismayed because none of the armed soldiers inside rushed out to stop them. The soldiers did nothing. Absolutely shameful. In the USA, immediate action would have taken place. Zero tolerance.
From Deb… When I lived in England in the 1960s, we and all visitors were allowed to walk in and around Stonehenge, as they are showing in this movie. At some point, however, this was disallowed to protect the historical site. Nice of the authorities to wave the rule for this filming. Looking forward to finishing the movie.
Why this didn't win the Academy Award for "Best Documentary Film" I'll never understand. Such great work obtaining access to those government facilities and records.
It's about time ! Something different than Egypt mummies & dinosaurs... / Although we've learned how Stonehenge was built long before 2010,,, still it's a great movie with veteran actors (professionals). !!!
Excellent. Riveting story with zero boring parts. Some accents were dubious but crikey me guv, you 'aving a laff was just the right amount of thought provoking "Was that Irish, Cornish, American or just made up.?" Then you hear your LOL moment & on with the show. Great 10/10.

First time I saw this it was on Syfy. I thought it was a cool idea. The fact Misha Collins is in it is a big plus. In all honesty I've always thought that Stonehenge was set up by aliens.
Almost as good as Indiana Jones II. Every actor in this is excellent and well known, so the cast is terrific. Really enjoyed this! only one thing i didn’t like, but, hey, nothing’s perfect. Joseph, Misha Collins, we all know from Supernatural. The other cast members are easily recognized, even if we don’t know their names. So, excellent actors, great direction (the pace of this movie has a momentum that keeps you glued to your seat), music good, etc. a real corker of a film. :) 🎬🎦 🌏✨
It's watchable. Not bad, for its genre. Watched it through so that's something for a supercritic. On a level near Stargate SG-1. At least five former actors in that series are in this one, including a young General Hammond, and a Goa'uld! Torri Highinson was Dr. Weir in Stargate Atlantis. Dr. Trousdale was played by Peter Wingfield who was Hebron of Paraval, who submitted himself to the Goa'uld symbiote Tanith. Aaron Pearl, the SWAT team leader played the younger General Hammond in the SG-1 episode "1969" General Foreshaw was played by Michael Kopsa, who played General Kerrigan in three episodes of Stargate SG-1 from 1998 to 2001. During his career, Kopsa also had roles in The X-Files. Major Peatman was played by Brent Stait who brilliantly played Rev Bem on Andromeda and Louis Ferretti in Stargate SG-1. At least Stonehenge is still standing unlike the stones that were located in Georgia, which is in the USA. Someone decided that it was from the devil and so they blew up the stones..
Sure looked to me like it was hit by a missile in the video. Very weird they tore the whole thing down since each slab had the same recommendation in case of a global apocalypse.
