Oh God Sue.....Look out Resin....here I come! Sue....I've been wanting to learn this for some time now because I love texture work and to find your tutorial on this just made my day!!! THANK YOU!!!
You’re my favorite resin artist, and that’s saying something. My husband is very used to hearing your voice in our house because I watch you all the time and learn so much!
creo que empezare uno a uno a hacer cosas semejantes a tus trabajos, porque estoy maravillada y no se si me contendre!!!!! graciassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! Your videos are amazing! - I have a question regarding the triptych hanging behind you. How did you hang it on your wall? I see tabs hanging down from the molding.
Thank you 💕 In answer to your question, I added gallery wall tracks to my wall and created my own hanging 'wires'. I have created a video on how I made my hangers and will post it very soon.
Hi Sue - very nice (seems simple) artpiece. I was wondering, if you used black pigment in resin to achieve the darker pewter metallic as well as shading, but to also have the textured part glazed over a bit for shine? Or would black acrylic paint removed with the paper towel or baby wipe do the same trick or would this be a duller finish? Please advise. Thanks.
I did use a black pigment in with the resin for the darker areas. So even though I wiped a lot of it off, it does still have a nice shine. You can still do the same with black acrylic paint, however, to get the shine, you would still need to add the resin. Although, you would still have to remove the excess, to stop the resin pooling in the crevices. 💕
Hello what beautiful work! I have a question. Once you add your color resin what is the white that you dribble in and blow to make water foam look? What type of paint?
Hi Sue, Thanks for sharing your method. I'm in Australia tool and i know we have both Mineral Spirits and Turpentine which are two different things. Are you using Mineral Spirits or Turpentine? Thank you :)
Iiiiiiirk! Back the truck up for a minute please dear Sue - the mortals are trying to catch up! 🙂 This is new-to-me, so I'm curious. How much do you add? You mentioned a spray bottle - would you have sprayed each cup or the piece itself? Can it be used with silicone? My mind is reeling...
I wanted to add depth to the texture. The black helps show definition. As for using resin, it seals the texture and helps protect it. 💕 plus, I like the glossy finish.

Hello what beautiful work! I have a question. Once you add your color resin what is the white that you dribble in and blow to make water foam look? What type of paint?
It is white pigment paste from Le Rez. You will find a list of all the products used in the description below the video 💕
Hi Sue, Thanks for sharing your method. I'm in Australia tool and i know we have both Mineral Spirits and Turpentine which are two different things. Are you using Mineral Spirits or Turpentine? Thank you :)
I have used both and achieved the same results. For this one I used Mineral Turpentine, as that is what I have in at the moment.

Wow....u inspire me to make my own resin art too....did u use a regular canvas frame?
Thank you, this is on an artist wooden board. 💕
Genius!
Thank you 💕
thanks for sharing
You’re welcome 💕
Where did you add turpentine? How much?
I used a stick to add turpentine to the water. You only need a tiny bit on the stick.
why did you use black color with resin?🤔 i mean why resin? Thanks in advance
