Well, 3050, ti and 3060 line shows a pretty decent results for the price. But CPU temperature goes high sometimes. Got rid of it turn on max 60 FPS in NVidia center. Now it's around 70-75 C.
I had the same issue... Its due to cpu boosting to 4.2 ghz... You dont need that turbo boost... Even at 3.3 ghz it works almost same... Turning off turbo boost will solve the heating issue.. You can play for hours without worrying about overheating

I have the same GPU and CPU in my g15, but I'm getting nearly twice the frames in warzone 2.0 (only game I have to benchmark). The only difference I see is 32 vs 16gb ram. Shouldn't make that big of a difference?
G15 has the mux switch which is shown to significantly improve performance in certain games. Also warzone is a ram heavy game, the game simply refuses launch in 8gb ram so your 32gb probably does help a lot. Other than that your ram is probably a 1Rx8 version as opposed to 1Rx16 most likely used in the lenovo. Simply upgrading to a dual channel 1Rx8 ram setup could increase gaming performance asmuch as 25%.

Both have different advantages and disadvantages. Some people face heating issues in Asus TUF series laptop. But TUF built is strong. And this Ideapad is good, but the CPU is lil weaker than F15 (i5 11400h). So it's upto you, what's your priority.

plus the tgp in g15 is 90w and in the lenovo its 85w so that could be the reason
Same in my legion 5, but I'm on 1080 medium. Ultra settings used in this video maxes out the vram, hence low fps

I have exactly the same pc with 8gb of ram, but my performance are so baaad. For exemple, in warzone, i play in full low, with the DLSS in performance ultra and i have Just 50 FPS. Also, in fortnite i play at 100-120 in performance mode. Have you the solution to have more performance ?

I have this laptop and I get a solid 165fps with no drops at all, maybe try and optimise your windows and there isn’t a need to upgrade your ram if you aren’t getting any fps drops

i bought this laptop it has screen tearing issues, it means you wont get for fps than 120 in fps games cause you'll need vsync on, limiting also doesnt fix anything
