After selling my E46 M3 over 10 years ago and owning many M140i’s and moth M2 OG and M2C in the meantime, I’ve now sold my M2C and gone back to another E46 manual M3 for special occasions. It’s not about the speed, it’s about how it makes you feel and none of the newer cars can ever really replicate the older cars, especially in the looks department.
I admit the G87 M2 is a great fun car but there is just something undeniably special about the classics. Loving my e36 m3 still and the character it brings, couldn't bring myself to sell it. Awesome m5 v10 btw!
Respect and thank-you for your honest review. You are one of many people handing back or selling their M2's after a short period after purchase. And there is a worrying trend. I test drove the M2 and the 230i last week, my initial intention was to buy the 230i which is the hidden gem in the g42 line-up IMO. Whilst test driging the M2 the salesman said 'i can offer you a deal of around the same monthly price as a 230i for an M2 as you are a long time customer. My ears got bigger. The M2 was wild, visceral like holding 5 hyenas on a lead chasing antelope. It was so fast. Really fast. But having driven the 230i which was unbelievably fast and handled like a really controllable go cart. It had better luxury it was playfull yet so enjoyable to drive. I was left thinking why was the salesman almost giving away the G42 M2? Then i read some more owner comments about dead steering and excess weight. But what shocked me was one buyer said he simply didnt want to drive his m2. Sure it was fast but the connection between car and driver was missing due to steering numbness. Not so in the 230i. You can feel the steering assistance but its nicely weighted it feels chunky yet malleable to turn. My said you felt relaxed in the 230i. You looked happy. Could this driver disconnection be the downfall of the M2?My advice is onky by an M2 if you like to street race evertime you drive it.

you should get a w204 c63 or a w213 E63s👀
Haha eif bi mini bude im stadler🤣💪
aziz, just out of curiosity, are you turkish? your name definitely. your accent, %99. but i still need clarification :)
Get an Alfa Romeo 4C. Tonnes of emotion.
spending a huge amount of money and waiting a lot of time to then sell it 2 months later… doesn’t make any sense
Buy the Manual G87 next time or second hand F87.
Win win.😎
Perhaps you should have chosen the M2 with a manual? 🤔
Not sure, if that would have changed anything.
You sure it wasn't the fact the G87 M2 has all these rings for "safety"?
You need a s65 or cl65 amg
nah. bmw. best or nothing
What about an M240i? All of the things you liked about the M2 but less of an axe murderer.
It’s simple math people, 6 > 2
Get a 911 GTS, you are not going to make a mistake with it :)
Great car
it just need a better driver
I can't drive below E segment by any means. I can easily daily an M760Li, an M5, or currently a Cayenne Turbo S, but I can't go below that. M3-M4 are way more squishy, utterly performance oriented. Can't even imagine how M2 would drive.
I can smell some 911
There is maybe a x Drive Version Coming with 480ps
nope
The m2 seems to be like a young stallion full of hormones
The m2 looks like a kids car. That’s why it doesn’t fit you. You look mature. Should get a M5 or M8.
Allah Ybarek Aziz
I have one and the reviewer is correct. Hits it on the head. DEAD steering. DEAD brake feel. Poor rear traction. You have to believe in God to push it on the road. My other car is a GT3 and even a novice could push it to 90% safely.
So you don’t like it then? Other than a Porsche what do you recommend?
I really don't care make a vieo about the e55 amg 2003-2006
Aziz, bro. I'm dissapointrd 😢 fuuuuuu
why bro? Don't you like me switching to the M6 V10`?
i like but im more of an M2 fanatic hehe. @@azizdrives
i also had an original M3 CSL for 9 years. a silver one. that i would rather have back of course.i sold it 3 years ago. had to sell it. that car is the best M car ever made, please if you have the chance to test one please do its just like you said in the m4 csl video its night and day difference between the standard M4. the e46 m3 csl man, pls do a review of it Aziz. you will be blown away@@azizdrives
The m240i is likely better.
Lol ::::: If you liked you could have worked on it: Kw V3--thats all
That dash looks very cheap
better then your porsche thats for sure
I recommend to buy a Swiss car 😂
😩😩😩
😂😂😂😂v6 plane ✈️

I know exactly what you're talking about! I recently drove a G80 comp and it was fast but very non communicative. I couldn't feel anything through the wheel or suspension to know what the limits were. I was so excited to get back into my E92 M3 and F87 after driving it 😊
